According to foreign media reports, the diary of the late British actor Alan Rickman will be published in the autumn of 2022.
Alan Rickman is a famous British actor who has participated in films such as "Die Hard", "True Love Supreme", "Perfume" and has portrayed many classic roles. Among them, his most well-known role for global audiences is Professor Snape of the "Harry Potter" series.
Rickman died of cancer in 2016 at the age of 69. According to foreign media, the forthcoming "The Diary of Alan Rickman" will select 27 volumes of Rickman's diaries written in the past two decades from 1990 to 2016 into a book, covering his views on friendship and politics, action ideas, etc. He also recalls the behind-the-scenes stories of the plays he was involved in and the Harry Potter series.
The Diary of Alan Rickman will be published by publisher Canongate. Alan Taylor, the editor of the book, commented that Rickman's writing was "full of anecdotes, unobtrusive, funny, and very honest."
