It is understood that the Jiangjin Yangtze River Highway Bridge was completed and opened to traffic in December 1997, and the bridge has been in service for nearly 24 years. Before the maintenance and replacement, the anchor bolt of the bridge deck expansion device has a large area of disease, and some of the bolts are defilamented, shedding and broken, resulting in serious abnormal sound of the expansion joint, and there are diseases such as the failure of the waterstop belt, and a number of fixed comb steel plates are directly out of the bridge deck. There are diseases such as serious deformation, uneven displacement or partial displacement failure of the modular steel expansion joint, and there are potential safety hazards.
In order to eliminate the safety hazards of the bridge expansion joint device and ensure the safety of passing vehicles, during this construction, the existing disease expansion joint and the rear pouring belt were removed, and the comb tooth expansion joint and the modular steel expansion joint were replaced. At the same time, positioning the embedded steel reinforcement welding anchoring, installing the telescopic device, and also reviewing and correcting the flatness and straightness, under the premise of ensuring the normal expansion and contraction clearance of the bridge, it is safer and more reliable.
In the construction progress, 5 expansion joints were taken to enter the site at the same time, the original number of construction personnel was increased from 30 to 60 people, and the one-time process of cutting, installation, and pouring was uniformly completed by the expansion joints, and the continuous construction was carried out continuously for 24 hours to ensure that there was no "empty window period". "After ten days and ten nights of intense and orderly construction by the workers, the five expansion joints of the Jiangjin Yangtze River Highway Bridge have all been installed, and concrete maintenance work and clearance work are currently being carried out." The relevant person in charge of the District Urban Public Utilities Management Office said that the construction was carried out in accordance with a highly standardized process, and under the premise of ensuring that each place met the standards, the construction progress was accelerated, so that the citizens could pass on the Yangtze River Highway Bridge as soon as possible.
