"Focusing on the high-quality construction of the same urban development pilot zone, our Jiangjin District has anchored the direction for the future goal."
Li Yinglan introduced that Jiangjin District plans to spend five years to build "five places and one city", of which the "five places" are: scientific and technological innovation bases, inland open frontier and dry port integrated logistics bases, advanced manufacturing bases, rural revitalization demonstration sites, and leisure tourism resorts.
"In the 'five places and one city', there are answers to our problems." Li Yinglan said that for example, in the construction of scientific and technological innovation bases, Jiangjin has an area of about 200 square kilometers included in the construction scope of the western (Chongqing) Science City.
"If we look at Jiangjin's existing scientific and technological innovation resources in Science City and in the western part of the country, we are relatively weak." Li Yinglan said frankly that there are still few high-level universities and research institutes in Jiangjin, "We can say that it is a 'weak bird'." ”

At the end of last year, the key projects of the Western (Chongqing) Science City in the fourth quarter of 2021 were concentrated, including 8 projects in the Jiangjin area of the Science City with a total investment of 6.9 billion yuan, including key projects such as the Tuanjie Lake Big Data Intelligent Industrial Park and the Elevator Internet of Things Industrial Park.
"We will strive to build the Tuanjiehu Big Data Intelligent Industrial Park into an emerging science and technology park based on big data collection, storage and advanced algorithms, with intelligent sensing, intelligent equipment and artificial intelligence as the leading industries."
Li Yinglan said that through the construction of relevant key projects, leading the upgrading of Jiangjin industry, helping the western (Chongqing) Science City to become a new engine for Chongqing's economic development.

Among the "five places and one city", "one city" is a livable city.
"Jiangjin has the unique advantages of a longevity town, the natural conditions of the mountains and rivers, as well as the historical culture where humanities gather, and the spatial form of urban and rural integration." Li Yinglan said that in building a livable city, Jiangjin District has conditions and a foundation.
"For example, in the construction of urban parks, Huxi Park, which opened last year, is deeply loved by citizens." The theme of "Smoke and Rain Huxi" in the park has attracted many citizens to stop, and it has become a good place for everyone to relax and entertain after tea and dinner.
In terms of traffic construction, at the end of last year, the extension of Jiangjin Dingshan Avenue began construction, which marked that the Jiangzhou Bay project officially entered the substantive construction stage. The Jiangsu Jumper Project of Rail Transit Line 5 has also frequently sent good news, and the Jiangjin section has entered the joint commissioning test stage.
"However, compared with other advanced areas, there is still a certain gap in the construction of Jiangjin city." Li Yinglan believes that as an important part of the main city metropolitan area, one of the core competitiveness of Jiangjin in the future should be livability.
To this end, Jiangjin will take livability as the core competitiveness of the city and build a modern urban system of "one main, two vices, six nodes and multiple characteristics".
"One Lord" is the central urban area of Jiangjin, and vigorously builds a modern new urban area in the western (Chongqing) Science City to display high-quality life.
The "two pairs" are the two sub-central cities of Luohuang and Baisha. Plan the urban layout from a high starting point, promote the integration of industry and city with high quality, strengthen the supporting functions and characteristics of the city, and improve the bearing capacity and attractiveness.
The "six nodes", namely Shitou, Lishi, Youxi, Caijia, Jiasi and Siping, are 6 node towns, accelerating the integration of industrial cityscapes and agricultural culture and tourism, and giving full play to the role of connecting urban and rural areas, serving rural areas, and driving the surrounding areas.
"Multi-characteristic" means that other towns should adapt to local conditions, seek development based on characteristics, and build a number of boutique towns with special and strong industries, concentrated and integrated functions, small and beautiful forms, and new and lively mechanisms.
As a systematic project, Jiangjin District is currently formulating relevant plans, and strives to use three to five years to make the city livable have an overall improvement.
