Is it not only about having a house to live in, having food to eat, having clothes to wear, having a car to drive, and having food, clothing, housing, and transportation? No. Settle down, settle down, settle down easily and hard.

It is okay to settle down, have food, clothing, shelter and transportation, but the life is different. What is destiny? It is very difficult to establish our moral destiny, our human destiny, and our soul destiny. To settle down, there must be the following three conditions:

And, of course, there's Shaohua Mountain. Zhu Wu and the other three people on Mount Shaohua also wanted to ask him to be the owner of the village. According to Zhu Wu, without Shijia Village, Shaohuashan could still live happily. But the question is: Is this a place where life can be established?

Not all bandit mountains can be safe: Erlong Mountain, under Deng Long's hands, Lu Zhishen could not settle down; Liangshan, in Wang Lun's time, Lin Chong could not settle down.

Also, some mountains can be settled, but they may not be able to survive. Liangshan, in the era of Chao Gai, could settle down, but could not establish a life. Why? Because there is no reason, can not be at ease.

Only in the era of Song Jiang, under the banner of "loyalty and righteousness", one hundred and eight people could establish their lives.

This brings us back to the third condition of settling down and establishing one's life that we have just talked about, and this condition is "reasonableness", that is, do you feel at ease when you are a robber in the mountains, a robber in a house, a person who eats delicious and drinks spicy? Is there such a happy truth in the world? Is it reasonable to live a happy life by robbing homes, killing people and setting fires, robbing other people's property, killing other people's lives, and then enjoying themselves?

So Shi Jin was reluctant. Later, many people who were forced to go to Liangshan, such as those generals from the imperial court, were also unwilling.

Shi Jin said, I want to find my master, but also to go to the frontier to serve the country, to get a birth, and then half a life to be happy.

Shi Jin said to Zhu Wu, "You persuaded me to fall into the grass, and you will never mention it again." How serious these words are, how righteous and stern they are, what Shi Jin wants is a clean and innocent happiness, and only by being innocent and innocent can he truly settle down and live.

It's just that Shi Jin doesn't know that in the muddy world, it is very difficult for a person to live a clean and innocent life. One hundred and eight people went up to Liangshan precisely because they could not "be safe", and it was precisely because they could not "feel at ease" that they played the banner of "loyalty and righteousness" and went down the mountain to recruit security. Supposedly, "reasonable", but what about the ending? In the end, seven fell, seven dead and eight injured.

Who in life does not want to rest, and who is not on the road in life? A lot of people are walking, which we now call escape. It's not that we don't dare to face it, it's not that we're weak, it's that if we don't go, we won't be able to do it at this moment.

Gao Li framed Wang Jin, but Wang Jin could not help it, so he had to leave.

Shi Jin wanted to keep Wang Jin, but Wang Jin felt that he still couldn't do it, or he left.

Now That Zhu Wu wanted to stay with Shi Jin, Shi Jin also felt that it was not one to go on like this, so he still left.

Go, just change a posture, put the moment away. As for what's next, don't think about it for now. But troubles are like shadows, and you can't get rid of them.

Wang Jin's own family is a person who cannot live and die, wandering in the rivers and lakes, and he does not know how to do it. Unexpectedly, he instead became Shi Jin's reliance, and became Shi Jin's sustenance for settling down, and Shi Jin thought that if he found Wang Jin, he would be able to do it. In fact, even if Wang Jin is found, what can he do?

Thinking about this, is it very sad and absurd?

Reading "Water Margin", reading that Shi Jin left Shaohua Mountain and wanted to find his master Wang Jin, I don't know why, I felt that my nose was sour. A young man of eighteen or nineteen years old, the master is gone, the father is dead, the manor is burning, only he has no one, his world is gone. What is "gone"? Gone is not a disappearance, but an endless one— the world has taken him everywhere, but he is not there, panicked, panicked. In the vast Song Dynasty, rolling red dust, his only hope in this world was master Wang Jin, who had gone far away and had no news in the rivers and lakes. We can see his feelings for this Master, which are now his only support, and this feeling is the last warmth of this world--this warmth, which is not given to him by the world, is the remnant of his own heart. We know that if a person falls into the cold sea, his first priority for self-help and survival is to curl up, clamp his armpits and thighs, and keep the temperature of his heart. At this moment, Shi Jin's feelings for Master in his heart were the last warmth of his heart.

Where is he looking for the Master, he is actually looking for his lost world, the warmth he has lost. Can he find it?

The Irish modernist playwright Beckett premiered an absurdist play, Waiting for Godot, in 1953.

The plot of "Waiting for Godot" is that two tramps wait for a man named Godot, but Godot does not come and cannot wait. There is a famous line in it: Hope is delayed, and people who wait for the bitter death.

Beckett wrote Waiting for Godot, and Schneen wrote about finding the Master.

Beckett is not actually waiting for Godot, Shi Jin is not actually looking for the master; Beckett is waiting for hope, Shi Jin is looking for direction. But Godot couldn't wait, and Master couldn't find it.

Shi Jin's search for Master is a parable, a symbol of our lifelong purposeful and directionless search, which often ends up with nothing.

The greatest pain in life is not that we do not have a goal, but that we have a goal and do not know the direction. So we looked like we were always looking, but in fact we were always stumbling. The most painful thing is that we know we are just stumbling.

Godot couldn't wait, and Master couldn't find it.

Godot who can't wait is Godot, and the master who can't find it is master.

The meaning is not in "waiting" and "finding", but in "waiting" and "not finding".

Wait for Godot, in these four words, in fact, "Godot" is not a keyword, what is the keyword? is "waiting". Beckett tells us that when we can't do anything, we just have to wait, as long as we're waiting, still expecting, Godot is there, hope is there.

It wasn't because Godot was there that we waited. It's because we're waiting, Godot is there.

It is not because Godot will come that we wait, but because we are waiting, Godot can come.

Once we gave up, Godot dissipated into the distant air.

This seems ridiculous, but in fact, this is the real logic of life.

Similarly, Shi Nai'an wrote that Wang Jin was looking for a master, and the master was not the key, nor was it meaningful, what was the meaning? Is looking.

Shi Nai'an is telling us that when we are at a loss, we can only search, as long as we are still looking, still exploring, the master is there, the direction is there. In the narrative of "Water Margin", as long as Shi Jin is still looking, we feel that Wang Jin is there. Later, Shi Jin finally stopped looking for it, and lu Zhishen said that he was going back to Shaohua Mountain, and we completely put Wang Jin down -- after "Water Margin", there was no more Wang Jin. We don't have any more thoughts about him.

As soon as Shi Jin gave up in the present time and space, Wang Jin disappeared in another time and space.

When we stop thinking about a person, he disappears completely.

Therefore, illusory hope is also better than despair. What did Lu Xun say? "Despair is the same as hope."

Lu Xun also said that the most painful thing in life is that when you wake up from a dream, there is no way out. Waiting for Godot, looking for the Master, is just to make yourself feel that there is a way to go.

Shi Nai'an wrote about Shi Jin's search, which is very sad: "Shi Jin was hungry and thirsty along the way, stayed at night and walked alone for more than half a month, and came to Weizhou. "Hunger and thirst" and "night and dawn", how hard. Moreover, "walking alone for half a month", the word "alone" that falls softly, has indescribable sadness and unspeakable loneliness.

Life is a lonely journey.

Wang Jin had a whereabouts but no news, and Godot had news but no trace. Shi Jin's search for Wang Jin is actually the waiting for Godot hundreds of years ago; waiting for Godot, that is, looking for Wang Jin hundreds of years later.
