On October 1, 2021, the opening ceremony of the 2021 "Run Bar • Junior" Youth Sports Reserve Talent Training Camp and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Tibet-Xinjiang Event sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau was successfully held. More than 600 young athletes from Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and Xinjiang walked into the event site with great enthusiasm.

Since 2017, the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau has begun to explore the model of "training camp", in accordance with the idea of "first competition selection, then concentrated training, and then competition inspection", every year to organize "three major balls", athletics, swimming and other 15 key projects, select some outstanding performance in the competition, have a promising training of young seedlings, focus on consolidating technology, breaking through bottlenecks, and helping them achieve a leap forward.
Holding the Youth Sports Reserve Talent Training Camp and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Tibet-Xinjiang Event aims to conscientiously and deeply implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech to Beijing and the spirit of the important instructions on sports work, follow the central deployment and the requirements of the municipal party committee and municipal government, respond to the national Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy, implement the relevant requirements of counterpart support for Xinjiang and Tibet, give play to the advantages of the "double Olympic city", focus on the vision of a strong sports city, and make full use of Beijing's first-class sports teachers.
