Zhong Hua, born in 1927, is a native of Zigong, Sichuan. In 1944, in response to the call of the army, he threw pens into the War of Resistance. Later, he served as a platoon leader in the 1st Platoon of the 312th Regiment, 312th Regiment, 38th Division, New First Army, China, and participated in battles such as Myitkyina. On September 3, 2015, in the military parade commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan, as a representative of the Sichuan Expeditionary Force, he was invited to Tiananmen Square to watch the ceremony. In recent years, he has devoted himself to finding comrades scattered throughout Sichuan, and as of 2018, more than 300 veterans have been found.
