Mr. Chung Wah Pei is a well-known jade collector in Hong Kong and the former president of Min Qiu Jing She. The jade in his collection dates from the Neolithic period to the Qing Dynasty court, and the taste is very high. He published "Xi Qi Tibetan Jade", which has a great influence on the Hong Kong collecting community. Zhong Huapei, Zi Xiqi, a famous architectural engineer and entrepreneur in Hong Kong, funded the establishment of the "Zheng Zhenduo - Wang Yeqiu Cultural Relics Protection Award Fund" with Min Qiu colleagues at the State Administration of Cultural Heritage in 1997, which is famous in the cultural relics circles in the mainland for commending grass-roots cultural relics protection units and individuals. It has been more than 30 years since its origins in the late 1960s. During this period, more than 300 pieces of jade were selected and passed down from generation to generation. The Jade Collection is different from the museum collection, in addition to paying attention to its historical, archaeological and cultural value, it is particularly focused on its overall artistic value. Therefore, in addition to the flaky jade carvings in the collection, most of them are semi-circular carvings and three-dimensional circular carving jade, and most of them are Xiaosheng jade carvings, which is one of the major features of Xiqi Tibetan jade. Jade is a tool, with a long history, when human civilization originated, there were jade objects. Since ancient times, other kinds of cultural relics have disappeared one after another, but jade has never stopped, and a history of Chinese civilization can be seen in jade, which is one of the important reasons why Xi Qi chose to hide jade.
The book "Xi Qi Hidden Jade" was edited by Jiang Tao and Liu Yunhun. Published by Heritage Press. The following are the pictures of the jade artifacts recorded in the book, for details, please refer to the genuine book.
