A series of activities to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Yan Lipin, a master of Yu opera, was opened
"Learn art before learn art virtue, and establish art first and character first" is the precious spiritual wealth left by Mr. Yan Lipin, the master of Yu opera. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of her birth, sponsored by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Henan Province, organized by Henan Yu Theater, Henan Yu Theater Second Troupe, Henan Radio and Television Station Liyuan Channel, and co-organized by Henan Gongxi Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., the 2021 Henan Provincial Public Cultural Service Special Fund Project - "Li De Li Pin Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Mr. Yan Lipin, a Master of Yu Opera", met with the audience at 19:30 on October 15 at the Henan Children's Film Theater.
Li Xia, first-class inspector of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Henan Province, Huang Hanqiu, director of the Arts Department, Xie Dong, second-level inspector, Li Shujian, vice chairman of the China Drama Association, president of Henan Yu Theater, and famous Yu opera performance artist, Wang Quanzhen, secretary of the party committee of Henan Yu Theater and famous Yu opera performance artist, Lu Qing, deputy secretary of the party committee and secretary of the discipline inspection department of Henan Yu Theater, some veteran leaders, as well as literary and art experts, theater critics, Yan Pai disciples, and online and offline audiences watched the performance.
This commemorative performance is based on the second troupe of Henan Yu Theater, and Mr. Yan Lipin's personal disciples are invited to participate in the performance with the retransmission disciples. General director Ding Jianying took "paying tribute to the master, inheriting the tradition, promoting the Yan school, and carrying forward the art virtue" as the guiding ideology to coordinate the arrangement of the program, and selected the representative repertoire and classic singing voice of the Yan school; Peking opera artists, representatives of the old artists who have performed on the same stage with Mr. Yan, and famous opera masters today also sent blessings; Master Yan Lipin personally passed on his disciples to make a collective appearance, remember the teacher, and push the evening to a climax. On the morning of the 16th, an "Expert Seminar to Commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Mr. Yan Lipin, a Master of Yu Opera", will be held to discuss the true meaning of Yan Pai art.
Ding Jianying, general director, vice president of Henan Yu Theater and head of the second troupe, introduced: Mr. Yan Lipin is one of the six famous Dan masters of Chinese Yu opera, the founder of Yan Pai Art; he is a Yu opera master from the second troupe of Henan Yu Theater. This year coincides with the centenary of Mr. Yan's birth, inheriting the spirit of the master and inheriting the style of the master, and it is our unshirkable responsibility to hold a special commemoration of her centenary birthday.
