Soul collage artist Caroline Augusta discovers loss and happiness from loneliness

Caroline Augusta grew up in a barn in California, where she spent a lot of time in nature, fantasizing about things... Reality, possible future adventures, dreams, spiritual friends around. All of this became the way Caroline Augusta expressed her creativity throughout her childhood.

After passing her big days at the age of 19, Caroline Augusta began to turn these imaginations into physical forms using whatever medium she could use. She first began to use art as an altar for the love she had experienced in the past as an expression of interest in helping her through the darkest periods of her life. Over time, the art of making has become a lot for Caroline Augusta and has always been a way to deal with emotions, but at least she hopes that what she creates will bring some form of service to the people she comes into contact with.

Caroline Augusta began making collages for people as a "thank you" gift to her inspiration. Recycled materials are something she's done since she was a child, from hair-breaking combs to old sunglasses, and she creates from these recycled materials as a source of collage materials. Caroline Augusta's collages are tinged with a strong personal touch.
