Work hard and practice excellent technology
In February 1995, Deyali was assigned to the Pediatric Department at the Qingyang People's Hospital. The biggest challenge of working in pediatrics as a nurse is getting needles in the scalp of your child. She said that at that time, steel needles were used, and children were prone to miss needles when they moved, sometimes several times a day.
In order to practice excellent needle pricking skills, Deyali humbly learned from Yang Jinling, the predecessor of the hospital. After returning home, she used her father's "valve core" to repair the bicycle to practice, she could not remember how many "valve cores" were broken, and under the diligent practice, her needle pricking technology has maintained a high level to this day.

In 1996, when Deyali was transferred to neurosurgery and urology, most of the patients she met were critically ill emergency patients, with a high degree of work intensity, and almost never left work on time. Here, Deyali met a doctor who had a great influence on her, Wang Zhenyun.
One morning in the early hours of the morning, an ambulance brought in a patient covered in an emergency blood condition. When Deyali saw such a serious situation, she was too frightened to come forward. On May 12, 2008, Deyali was working in the neonatal department when the building suddenly shook, and after realizing the earthquake, she and her colleagues did not care about the danger and began to help the mother and newborn transfer safely. When everything was properly arranged, it was more than 7 o'clock in the evening, and Deyali suddenly remembered her daughter Xia Yu, who was less than 9 years old, and hurried to the school, only to find that the school had ended early.
Xia Yu told the China News Network reporter that at that time, the school teacher could not contact her parents, entrusted the father of the classmate to send her back home, because she was still young at the time, when she was afraid of being alone at home, she hugged her big doll tightly.
Deyali recalled this scene and blamed herself. Still, this kind of "self-blame" situation is not uncommon in the daughter's upbringing.
When she was a child, Xia Yu once wrote in her diary, "My mother was a dutiful nurse and a hero in the eyes of many strangers who were sick." Whenever I was woken up at night by a purr and found that it wasn't my mom but my dad, I knew my mom was working overtime again to take care of the patients in the hospital. At first I was sad, I complained that my mother didn't love me, and there was only a 'patient' in her heart. Dad told me it was her duty, and many nurse aunts were like this, and slowly I got used to it. ”
Volunteer to sign up for the first medical team and go to Wuhan!
On the morning of January 26, 2020, after Deyali participated in the rescue of patients, she learned that the hospital had recruited medical staff to assist Hubei. "Because the new crown pneumonia is mainly a respiratory disease, and it develops rapidly and is very sick, the hospital first selected people in the icu and respiratory departments." Deyali has worked in the icu for a long time, and has accumulated experience in dealing with critically ill patients and other urgent and dangerous tasks, so she was the first to take the initiative to sign up.
The next day, Deyali was selected as the leader of the first batch of medical teams in Qingyang to assist Hubei and began her 53-year anti-epidemic trip to Wuhan. Before leaving, she had promised that she would bring the team members back safely.
In order to fulfill her promise, Deyali pondered repeatedly, and also organized the team members to practice protective steps, and did not dare to take it lightly. The medical team arrived at the nearest hospital to the Huanan Seafood Market, the Houhu Branch of Wuhan Central Hospital.
She learned that most of the patients are elderly and complex, in order to alleviate the patient's anxiety, Deyali tried to communicate, but the dialect was not comprehensible.
Not long after, it was written with the words "Hello fellow patients! You must insist, you must cooperate, you must do, we will try our best to save you. The 32 cards of encouragement were sent to the hands of patients by Deyali, and for a while everyone in the ward knew that the medical team from Gansu was coming.
"At that time, when I was video with my mother, she was not like other medical staff in the news, her face had obvious marks of being pressed by the goggles, and then I thought, maybe my mother was afraid of us worrying, and she carefully sorted it out before each video." Xia Yu said.
In the 53 days of fighting the epidemic in Wuhan, she wore protective clothing for an average of more than 10 hours a day, participated in the care of 278 new crown pneumonia patients, cured and discharged 135 people, resolved major infection accidents twice, and achieved zero infection, zero complaints and zero accidents for all team members.
