According to the Wall Street Journal, Sun Wei, Morgan Stanley's top female executive in Asia, will retire by the end of this year. Wei Sun, 65, has been Morgan Stanley's Chief Executive Officer for China since 2006 and Co-Ceo of Morgan Stanley Pacific since 2011. According to an internal notice seen by the Wall Street Journal, she recently informed the company of its retirement decision and will continue to serve as an advisory director to provide Insights on China for Morgan Stanley and its clients.
