From the unruly and rebellious Yu Dingbang in "The Woman of the Knife Family", to the cold and ascetic Shangxian Wuxian in "Flowers and Bones", and then to the brave and iron-blooded god of war Bai Qi in "The Legend of Mi Yue", Zeng Hongchang has interpreted a screen image with different styles and great differentiation since his debut. This time leading the role of Yu Jincheng in "Troubled World", it is zeng Hongchang's first attempt at a role with such a large span of fate. In the play, Yu Jincheng was born famous and gentle, but because of the enmity between his fathers, the Yu family was suddenly changed, and he fell into trouble overnight, and a scholar fell on the street. The harsh reality forced him to change himself, but after suffering heavy blows such as constant persecution by his enemies and the marriage of his beloved, Yu Jincheng decided to leave his hometown. Time flies, when he returned from becoming a successful industrialist, he finally discovered that the Yu family's "land title" was the origin of all tragedies: foreigners wanted to borrow the hand of the rich merchant Li Shouji to get the land title and build a railway bridge, so that the pretext of plunder and colonization would be more grandiose. Can Yu Jincheng single-handedly break the tricks of foreigners? On the road to revenge, he also faces many challenges...

In the play, Yu Jincheng, played by Zeng Hongchang, in addition to "revenge" and "doing business", also has a love-hate entanglement with Yugu played by Li Qian and Lu Yinjie played by Cheng Yanqiu. Yugu has been obsessed with Yu Jincheng all her life, but Yu Jincheng always has only Lu Yinjie in her heart, and such an emotional line is destined to be sadistic. Facing the audience, Cheng Yanqiu interpreted the character's concept of love: "Lu Yinjie is a person who takes care of the overall situation and will not ignore others for his own feelings. This is also the reason why she and Yu Jincheng love each other, but there are lovers who cannot eventually become dependents. It is worth mentioning that "Gone with the Wind" has a very important significance for director Zhang Hanbing. Although he has directed many works, the play is his first time as a general director. Cheng Yanqiu's performance in the play did not disappoint the director, the characters from gentle and moving ladies to being impacted by life into schizophrenia, until they have Alzheimer's disease, Cheng Yanqiu uses many micro-expressions and micro-movements as a role to add three-dimensionality.
