Because of its similar design to the old Toyota Alpha, this car is also known as the "domestic Alpha".

If you ignore the logo, I think most people would think of it as a Toyota Alpha, especially the angle of the sloping A-pillar and the iconic B-pillar shape similar to the Toyota Alpha. However, compared with the body size, the Effie F9 listed this time is much larger than the Alpha, with a length, width and height of 5150/1835/1890 mm, and a wheelbase of 3200 mm. At the same time, the interior of the car is designed with four rows of seats and 9 seats, and the seat layout is 2+2+2+3.

In terms of power, the Kowloon Effie F9 is equipped with LJ481Q6 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine from Wuling Liuji, with a maximum power of 106 kilowatts and a peak torque of 200 Nm, which meets the National VI emission standards, and the listed model is also the only National VI version of the current Effie series. The engine-matched drivetrain is a 6-speed manual transmission with front-wheel drive.
Obviously, the Kowloon Effie F9 has not entered the mainstream market of domestic MPV, and the "copycat" Toyota Alpha is also the biggest impression left by this car on consumers. Just like the development path of many reverse development models, with the low-price strategy may be the reason for the current Effie F9 to exist in the market, and in the long run, the development model that relies only on copycat imitation will be submerged in the long river of the times.
