Gaofeng, Tiancheng and Jiuchi streets were inaugurated

Yesterday, the unveiling ceremonies were held in Gaofeng, Tiancheng, and Jiuchi streets in Wanzhou District, turning a brand-new page in the history of development.

According to reports, the establishment of streets in gaofeng and Tiancheng and the streets in Jiuchi are the needs of Wanzhou District to coordinate urban and rural development, expand urban space, and accelerate the construction of "double two hundred" large cities, and are also the needs of promoting coordinated regional development, improving the energy level of regional center cities, and accelerating the construction of "one district, one hub, two centers", which has been approved by the Chongqing Municipal Government.

After the re-establishment of the street, Gaofeng Street has jurisdiction over the administrative area of the original Gaofeng Town, with an area of 46.2 square kilometers, 9 villages and 3 communities, and the street office is located in the Gaofeng community. Tiancheng Subdistrict has jurisdiction over the administrative area of the former Tiancheng Town, with an area of 783 square kilometers, 6 villages and 9 communities, and the subdistrict office is located in Maogu Community. Jiuchi Subdistrict has jurisdiction over the administrative area of the former Jiuchi Township, with an area of 30.6 square kilometers, 7 villages and 3 communities, and the subdistrict office is located in Daijiayan Community.

It is understood that the gaofeng, Tiancheng, and Jiuchi streets involved in this administrative division adjustment will not be affected by the medical treatment and schooling of residents in the jurisdiction, and the office locations of the street offices and communities (villages) will not change, and will not involve changes in government agencies and staffing.

At the ceremony, the Wanzhou District Party Committee and the District Government read out the notice on the establishment of the organizational structure of Gaofeng Street, Tiancheng Street and Jiuchi Street, marking the official establishment of Gaofeng Street, Tiancheng Street and Jiuchi Street.

As a major decision-making deployment of the district party committee and the district government, the removal of streets in Gaofeng and Tiancheng and the removal of streets in Jiuchi are not simply renaming and changing cards, but are fundamentally to achieve the transformation of the development positioning and development direction of the jurisdiction, adapt to the transformation of functions and responsibilities and institutional mechanisms, and better serve the grass-roots level, citizens and service development.

Today, Gaofeng, Tiancheng, and Jiuchi are taking the opportunity of re-setting up streets to change their thinking for the future, reorganize their bags and start again, find a direction and clear positioning in the overall development of the whole district, and strive to create a new situation in various undertakings of the streets with a more lofty attitude, more enthusiasm, a more fighting spirit, and a more pragmatic style, so as to better meet the aspirations of the people in the jurisdiction for a better life.

It is reported that after the establishment of Gaofeng, Tiancheng and Jiuchi streets, Wanzhou District has been adjusted from 11 streets, 29 towns and 12 townships to 14 streets, 27 towns and 11 townships.
