British filmmaker Cliff Owen

Cliff Owen (born 3 October 1964 in Warwickshire, Coventry, United Kingdom) is an actor and producer who graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Cliff Owen was born in Coventry, the industrial centre of England. His father was a country singer who ran away from home when Owen was 3 years old, leaving his mother alone to raise five sons.

In 1984, Cliff Owen successfully applied for admission to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. During his three years at the school he performed a series of classical plays. After graduation, he joined the Young Vic Theatre Company.

In 1988, he participated in his first film "Vroom", thus officially entering the entertainment industry.
