Saying goes
Twenty-three sacrifice stoves
Dust off twenty-four
Twenty-five twenty-six strokes of dim sum
Twenty-seven twenty-eight cuts are New Year's people
Yesterday was the twenty-third day of the lunar month, which is the lunar new year
It is also the traditional festival day of Zhoushan!
Did your home have any arrangements?
Lots of good food for the day
Red, green, and green offerings
Rice fat candy, hemp balls, oil dates
……
The saliva is going to flow down!
But for the sacrificial stove,
How much do you know?
Look down, Xiaobian takes you to "up posture"!
Why the sacrificial stove?
According to folklore, the "Eastern Chef Si Ming Jiu Ling Yuan Wang Ding Fu Shen Jun" is the lowest rank earth immortal in myths and legends.
He was originally a commoner Zhang Sheng, and after marrying his wife, he spent all day drinking, and lost his family business and fell to begging on the street. One day, he begged to the house of his ex-wife Guo Dingxiang, ashamed and embarrassed, and went under the stove and burned to death. After the Jade Emperor knew, he thought that Zhang Sheng could change his mind and not be bad to the end, and since he died at the bottom of the pot, he was named the King of the Stove, and every year on the twenty-third and twenty-fourth day of the twenty-third and twenty-fourth months of the month, he went to heaven to report on the affairs of the mortal world, and Chinese New Year's Eve returned to the bottom of the stove.
In the eyes of the common people, because The Stove King is the permanent ambassador sent by heaven to the human world, responsible for the upper and lower levels, the position is light and powerful, and it is impossible to offend. Therefore, the people of Zhoushan have the "little year" of the 23rd lunar month to pray for peace and fortune in the coming year.
The sacrificial stove is actually to pat the stove jun's ass, let him eat and drink well, and let the stove jun not talk randomly when he "reports on work" in heaven. However, everyone still feels that it is not safe, in case the stove jun eats something, still "do things impartially" what to do? Therefore, he glued his mouth with frozen rice candy and brown candy in the sacrificial stove fruit, so that he could keep his mouth shut at the summary meeting held by the Jade Emperor.
How do the people of Zhoushan sacrifice the stove?
The tradition of sacrificing stoves has always been popular in Zhoushan, and many Zhoushan people will set aside a place in the kitchen to enshrine the stove king, paste the statue of the stove king, and paste the couplet "The heavens say good things, and the netherworld ensures peace".
When offering stoves, they usually put some sacrificial stove fruits, fruits, etc., and then put two cups of tea and two bowls of rice, and light incense and candles. Most people in Zhoushan will also put some yuan treasures folded with gold leaf when they sacrifice stoves.
There are all kinds of sacrificial stove fruits
Matsuri is a kind of pastry suitable for all ages, consisting of dates, red and white balls with oil fruits, black and white polysaccharide, sesame foot bone sugar, inch golden candy, white linen slices, and frozen rice candy.
In addition to the main road goods such as oil nuts, frozen rice candy, and bean crisp candy, a pack of sacrificial stove fruits also has the following special pastries and candies:
(1) "Sesame jujube": This point is probably the prototype of the sacrificial stove fruit, fried with glutinous rice, honeycomb-shaped inside, wrapped in sesame seeds on the outside, crispy and delicious;
(2) "Red Ball White Ball": This fruit is also made of glutinous rice flour fried, the size is quite large, the inside is hollow, the pigment is dyed red and white, taking the meaning of "gold and silver full of hall";
(3) "Lotus silk sugar": roll a layer of white sesame seeds in addition to maltose, resembling yellow and clear gold bars;
(4) "Black and white cross-cutting": commonly known as "foot bone sugar", often given the meaning of "foot bone health";
(5) "Foreign money cake": a small round cake is wrapped in white sesame seeds, shaped like a copper coin, sweet and crispy. These pastries all have the same characteristics, that is, heavy oil and heavy sugar, sweet and sticky.
I think that whether it is the "post-80s" or "post-90s" must have a good memory related to the "sacrificial stove fruit", every 23rd day of the Waxing Moon, I always can't wait for the elders to open the bag and pick out the varieties they like to eat first.
The Festival of Sacrifices arrives as scheduled in the midst of busyness,
With the progress of the times,
There have been some minor changes in the customs of the sacrificial stove,
