On November 2, the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Bureau issued the "Notice on the Risk Control of 1 Batch of Unqualified Food", which shows that the State Administration for Market Supervision and Administration entrusted Guangzhou Inspection and Testing Certification Group Co., Ltd. to carry out the 2020 Food Sampling Plan of the General Administration, and the company sampled the "Holly Rui Infant Formula 0-6 Months Old 1 Stage" imported by Beijing Shida Global Science and Trade Co., Ltd. sold by Shawan Chen Dianfei Baby Products Commercial Co., Ltd. in Panyu District, Guangzhou City (Specification: 900 g / can, Production Date: 2019-08-19), vanillin and ethyl vanillin ingredients were detected.
After inspection, the above-mentioned operators purchased a total of 8 cans of sampling batches of "Hollyrey Infant Formula 0-6 Months Old 1 Stage", all of which were used for this supervision and sampling inspection and were not sold to consumers. Further investigation revealed that the batch of unqualified samples was sold by Beijing Shida Global Science and Trade Co., Ltd. to Guangzhou Panyu District Yi Baby Room Children's Department Store Co., Ltd. through the Haipaike APP network platform, and then sold to Chen Dianfei Baby Products Co., Ltd. At present, the Panyu District Bureau has filed a case investigation against the above two operators in accordance with the law.
According to the data, Convedo is a brand of infant milk powder under the Dutch century-old dairy company Ediha Company, which has maintained good sales in the Dutch market and officially entered the Chinese market in 2005. In April 2019, holly cattle and sheep series infant formula milk powder passed the national formula registration. According to its official website, Convedo also has a number of categories such as "You'er" lactose-free formula milk powder, maternal milk powder, children's milk powder, and children's goat milk powder.
At the beginning of this year, Convedo also revealed to the outside world that its company has begun to prepare the declaration of a new series of formulas, because its Dutch factory IDH also has a series of undeclared formula registrations.
Although Hollyre is currently sold in many parts of the country, it has also experienced a period of ups and downs. At that time, due to the lack of formula registration, there was a long period of suspension, and the supply was also affected. The market did not resume supply until it was registered through the formula.

1 stage of milk powder is contraindicated
In the domestic market, infant formula can be said to be one of the most strictly regulated categories. There are very clear national standards for the formulation of its products. Including the ingredients and content that must be added and allowed to be added in infant formula, which is also the basic requirement that formula milk powder must meet.
According to the "National Standard for Food Safety And The Standard for the Use of Food Additives" (GB 2760-2014), infant formula food is listed in the "List of Foods That Must Not Add Food Flavors and Flavors", and infant formula foods from 0 to 6 months are not allowed to add any food spices.
It is understood that the flavor added to infant formula milk powder actually refers to vanillin. However, in the domestic infant formula market, only 1 stage of milk powder is explicitly prohibited from being added, and a small number of brands in 2 and 3 stages of milk powder are added, but the amount of addition is also within the limit.
There has been a lot of discussion about whether vanillin in baby powder can be added, whether it will endanger the health of infants and young children, and why it is necessary to add it in the industry, and even many domestic milk powder companies have also played the slogan of "refusing to add flavor" and took action.
In addition, there are other prohibited ingredients in infant formula. The National Standard for Food Safety Infant Formula (GB10765-2010) stipulates: "For milk-based infant formula, the preferred carbohydrates should be lactose, lactose and glucose polymers, and only pre-gelatinized starch can be added to infant formula, and fructose shall not be used." ”
