On January 19, Ms. Cheng showed these stone cakes to reporters for inspection. "You see, the package of this cake is intact and has not expired, but it just doesn't taste right." In response to Ms. Cheng's words, the reporter removed a small bag of stone cakes on the spot for inspection and found that it could indeed smell a very strong odor, which tasted similar to the mildew odor produced after the food was damp or stored for a long time.

In order to further verify this matter, the reporter and Ms. Cheng went to the supermarket together, purchased some stone cakes of the brand again, and opened them in the state of the whole audio and video recording to check, and found that the stone cakes bought on the same day also had the problem of "peculiar smell".

In addition, it is worth mentioning that the price tag of the stone cake purchased by Ms. Cheng on January 17 shows that the food type is "Xinjie stone cake", and the price tag played by the supermarket staff on January 19 is "Dinghai Steamed Bread Scattered Series", and the price of the stone cake displayed on the two price tags is also different, the former is 39.8 yuan / kg, the latter is 31.8 yuan / kg.

In response to the above questions, the reporter accompanied Ms. Cheng to find the relevant person in charge of the supermarket.

"The smell of this stone cake is indeed not the same as that of ordinary stone cake, but because many bags are randomly unwrapped, it is not excluded that it is the same taste." Mr. Yang, the head of the food area of the supermarket, and Mr. Han, the manager of the supermarket, have opened some stone cakes and smelled them, saying that there is no problem with the production qualifications of these stone cakes, and they have not received complaints from other customers before.

The two said that the current customer reflected this problem, and they will contact the manufacturer to ask them to inspect the food and give a reasonable answer. "After the other party has finished the inspection, if there is really a problem, we will give the customer a corresponding compensation according to the relevant regulations." At the same time, it said that the supermarket would temporarily remove the batch of stone cakes from the shelves.

As for the problem of "two price tags, two prices", the two responsible persons said that it was caused by the staff's unfamiliar business and meticulous work. "This food type should be the 'Xinjie Stone Cake' series, the price is 39.8 yuan / kg." The manager surnamed Han said that the supermarket will deal with the staff involved accordingly in accordance with the relevant regulations of the store.
