"It's another year when the green oranges in Qiongzhong are ripe and fragrant, and in the past few days, the major green orange bases in the county have successively sent sample fruits." Deng Changyi said that in order to let consumers eat at ease, at present, in addition to completing the pesticide residue testing work of the fruit sent for inspection, the center will also go to the planting base site with the Qiongzhong Agricultural Technology Center from time to time to carry out random sampling inspection, and where the fruit does not meet the standard or the pesticide residue exceeds the standard, it is not allowed to be sold on the market.

However, the Hainan Daily reporter noted that it is still a period of time before the official listing of Qiongzhong Green Orange, and now there are many "Li ghosts" on the market.

"Many unscrupulous traders seize the 'Qiongzhong Green Orange' brand effect, buy green oranges from elsewhere, and deceive consumers to falsely claim that it is the authentic 'Qiongzhong Green Orange' in order to seek improper benefits." Yu Chunjie, director of the office of the Qiongzhong Green Orange Association, introduced that in order to protect the "Qiongzhong Green Orange" brand, Qiongzhong added three new functions this year on the basis of the original "Qiongzhong Green Orange Traceability Code", namely——

Improve the traceability information of raw materials, production, processing and sales nodes, and consumers can scan the code to understand who picks, who cleans, who selects fruits and other information, fine to every box, every operation process and every operator; New quality problem reporting function, if consumers receive problem fruits, you can directly scan the code to report, the Green Orange Association will have a special person to dock responsible for compensation; The new traceability information supervision system can see the distribution of traceability code scanning codes in all regions of the country through the background, including several scans, where to sweep, etc., to help better supervise the circulation and sales of products.

"Through big data management, we are equivalent to letting every Qiongzhong green orange have its own 'identity card', and promote the transformation and upgrading of the qiongzhong green orange industry to traceability and informatization." Yu Chunjie introduced that at present, there are 153 enterprises, cooperatives and farmers in the county planting Qiongzhong green oranges, with a planting area of about 16,000 mu, and the total output this year is expected to reach about 11 million jin.
