The legend of the black wound

According to legend, during the Qin Dynasty, there was a father and son surnamed Yan, the father's name was Yan Feng, and the son's name was Yan Wu. The two men fled south from Shandong. At first, they worked for a rich family, but then the rich man saw that Yan Feng was old and sick, and there was no oil and water to squeeze, so he drove the father and son out of the house. Yan Wu and his father had to beg for a living. Due to the frequent lack of food, the father and son are often hungry and dizzy, especially the elderly father, who is already seriously ill. Fortunately, Yan Wu is a filial piety and serves his father very thoughtfully.

Once, Yan Wu found a small rock cave on the way to begging, the area inside the cave was not large, but it was warm in winter and cool in summer. Yan Wu was overjoyed, he cleaned up the rock cave, and the father and son settled down in the cave. In the blink of an eye, it is summer, and the mosquitoes in the rock cave are gradually increasing, how to let the seriously ill father sleep peacefully without mosquitoes? The clever and filial Yan Wu has his own way. Every evening, Yan Wu always carried his father to the outside of the cave to cool off, and then he returned to the cave by himself, lay naked, and after an hour, when the mosquitoes were full of food, they were satisfied to "retreat", and Yan Wu got up and carried the old father back to the cave to sleep.

For a long time, Yan Wu's filial piety touched a nest of crows perched at the mouth of the cave, and these crows ate mosquitoes when they saw them, and later the mosquitoes in the cave disappeared. Yan Wu sometimes wants to come back from food, and he will save a little food to feed to the crows. Father and son and the crow became good neighbors.

One day at dawn, the crow was suddenly awakened by a cry of pain, and it turned out that Yan Wu's father was dead. Yan Wu held his father's body and cried to death at the entrance of the cave... I don't know how long I cried, But Yan Wu stopped crying. When a person dies, he still goes into the ground for safety, but because there is no tool, Yan Wu can only bury his father with digging soil with his hands. The crow was touched by his filial piety. Thousands of crows flew towards Yan Wu's father and son, each with a white mourning circle around its neck. After turning around a few times, the crows flew to the northwest, and they grabbed mud blocks from the yellow land 1 kilometer away and piled them on Yan Wu's body... These crows, you piece of mud, I a piece of mud, busy flying back and forth, and soon, the crow's beak is injured, and the mud is stained with bits and pieces of crow blood. By the evening, the crows had built a tall tomb.

It is said that after the death of Xiaozi Yanwu, the crow buried him next to his father's grave. People built ancestral halls here, called filial piety shrines. In honor of the crows who were injured in the graves, people called this place a crow wound. After Qin Shi Huang pacified Jiangnan, the county was built here under the name "Wu Wound", which was called "Yiwu" in 624 AD.
