The so-called "Room N" incident in South Korea refers to the fact that since 2018, a number of criminals led by Zhao Zhongbin have used clothing model part-time jobs as bait to attract young women and trick them into uploading nude photos or indecent videos. They then use this as a pretext to make threats, shoot videos of sexual exploitation, and share them in chat rooms on the instant messaging app Telegram for paid members to watch or download.

In order to evade the search, the offender built a number of chat groups in advance, constantly built and disbanded the chat groups, and named them "Room 1" and "Room 2" respectively, so they were collectively referred to as "Room N". Among them, the chat group operated by Zhao Zhongbin is the most rampant, known as the "doctor's room". As of March 23, police investigations had identified 74 female victims, including 16 minors.
