Several accomplices in the British "Death Truck" case were sentenced in Belgium

Brussels, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- The Bruges District Court in Belgium issued a judgment on January 19, sentencing 20 accomplices in the 2019 Essex County Truck Massacre in the United Kingdom to prison terms ranging from 1 to 15 years. Among them, The vietnamese citizen Who received the heaviest sentence, Wu Van Hong, was also fined 920,000 euros, and another 2.3 million euros of property was confiscated.

On 23 October 2019, British police found 39 bodies in a container truck in an industrial park in Essex, south-east England, and later confirmed that the victims were all Vietnamese citizens. The survey found that the containers came from Belgium.
