Wang Bodang was the first sharpshooter in the Sui and Tang dynasties. Called Wang Yong (?) -619.1.20), the word Bertang. One said that it was a Tang people in Hejin, Shanxi. One said that it was a native of Jiyang Kaocheng (Kaifeng Lankao). There are also yellow people in Anyang. He was collectively known as the Five Tiger Generals of Wagang with Wang Junke, Qin Shubao, Shan Xiongxin1, and Cheng Yaojin among the generals of Wagang Village, and was the starling of Jia Liulou's 46 friends.
In the western suburbs of Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, there is a high hill called Phoenix Mountain between the three villages of Zhanshang, Baoma and Jiangcun in the western suburbs of Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, and there is a manor on the mountain called "Erxian Zhuang", which is said to be the former residence of Shan Xiongxin and Wang Bodang, the generals of the Wagang Army in the late Sui and early Tang dynasties. It was also the place where Qin Qiong sold horses and Li Mi took refuge, and it was also the place where Wei Zheng was the head of the Dao. It was here that Wang Bodang followed Shan Xiongxin, the good man of the Green Forest of the Seven Provinces of the Great Sui Dynasty, and was his right-hand man. Therefore, some people say that Wang Bodang is a native of Shanxi. It is said that Wang Bodang's cemetery is on the north tuling ridge of Wang Tomb Ridge Village, Hemiao Township, Tunliu County, Changzhi City, and there are two sealed soils symmetrical from east to west of the surface, and the original Ming and Qing Dynasty building Bodang Temple on the south side of the sealed soil has been destroyed.
The basis for saying that Wang Bodang was a Kaifeng person is that the "Civil Rights Literature and History Materials" says: "Bo DangJi: Wang Bodang at the end of the Sui Dynasty once raised troops here, and left a son and heir, where he multiplied and took root." Therefore, the original name was BodangJi, and the Ming Dynasty was renamed Bo Dang. This should be the place where Wang Bodang first revolted here and raised the banner of anti-Sui. It is said that Wang Bodang's ancestor was originally the famous Northern Wei general Yuan Ying, when the Northern Wei dynasty fell, the family scattered and fled, Wang Bodang's grandfather in Jiyang County(present-day Cao County, Shandong Province, fifty miles south, the jurisdiction is equivalent to today's Minquan County, Sui County, Ningling Three Counties Bo Dangji) near the mountain hidden name Wang Yaozu, he valued his grandson very much, put his mind on Wang Bodang, visited famous teachers everywhere to cultivate. Wang Bodang read and read at the age of three, and began to study the Fa Du Canon at the age of five. At the age of seven, he learned to ride a bow and horse to shoot, and after ten years, Wang Bodang practiced a hundred steps through Yang's divine arrow. At the end of the Sui Dynasty, the world was in chaos, and the masses of heroes rose up one after another, and Wang Bodang, together with The Outer Huang Wang Dangren, Weicheng Zhou Wenju, Yongqiu Li Gongyi, and others, became bandits for Wang, and the Tun army was in the area of the present-day Minquan Bo Dang and Sui County Jiangang Hengshan, and later Wang Bodang led the people to join the Wagang Army.
It is said that Wang Bodang's hometown is in Anyang, and it is said that Wang Bodang's cemetery is in the southwest half of QiliTantou Village in the northwest of Huang County, Anyang City, and the tomb was destroyed during the Great Leap Forward. Another craft in Neihuang is the lantern painting in Bodang's hometown, which was created in 1869 by Wang Zhijiang (born 1846), a wooden board artist from Tantou Village, Matou Township, Neihuang County, on the basis of combining Kaifeng lanterns.

In 1869, Wang Zhijiang went to Kaifeng to sell wooden plank god statues, and Wang Zhijiang studied the art of making lanterns by taking a local lantern artist with a high surname as a teacher. After the completion of the art, he combined this art with the master plate of the carved wooden board New Year painting master and the printing of the New Year painting technique, and produced exquisite shapes, low prices, exquisite craftsmanship, brilliant colors, and sold to Jinji, Luyu, Beijing and Tianjin and other places, becoming a famous woodblock lantern painting and lantern brand at that time. Because Tantou Village is the hometown of the great hero of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Wang Bodang, and the archway with large character plaques of "Tang King's Imperial Seal" and "Bodang's Hometown" was built at both ends of the village, people called it "Bodang's Hometown Lantern", and the painting pasted on the lantern was called "Bodang's Hometown Lantern Painting".
