On March 27, the 2021 Linzhou Taihang Grand Canyon KOM Mountain Cross-country Challenge was held in the Linzhou Taihang Grand Canyon Scenic Area, and more than 2,000 running and outdoor cross-country enthusiasts from all over the country enthusiastically signed up for the competition. This cross-country challenge set up a men's and women's challenge group, the track is located in the national 5A level tourist area Taihang Grand Canyon Scenic Area, a total length of 12 kilometers, starting and ending at the gate of peach blossom valley scenic spot.

In the competition, the contestants started from the gate of the Peach Blossom Valley Scenic Area, ran all the way, and enjoyed the scenery all the way, showing the romance and heroism of the runners. "Running in the picturesque Taihang Grand Canyon is a blissful treat, it's so refreshing and unforgettable, and I'm still participating in the next race." Yang Yong, an off-road enthusiast from Changzhi, Shanxi, told reporters.
