In the main tasks of the National Fitness Plan (2021-2025) (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan") released by the State Council on August 3, the task of youth sports was mentioned many times. Among them, in the "promotion of fitness activities for key groups", it is pointed out that it is necessary to implement the youth sports activity promotion plan, promote the youth sports "health package" project, carry out sports interventions for adolescents with problems such as myopia and obesity, reasonably adjust the standards of facilities and equipment suitable for minors, and equip public places such as communities, parks, and green spaces equipped with public sports facilities. In the "Promoting the Integrated Development of National Fitness", it is further pointed out that it is necessary to continue to deepen the integration of sports and education in the new five-year plan, improve the school physical education teaching model, and ensure that students have 1 hour of physical activity time in and out of school every day. Integrate all kinds of youth sports events at all levels, and improve the system of youth sports events in different school segments and across regions. Strengthen the construction of high-level sports teams in schools with traditional sports characteristics, all types of sports schools at all levels and colleges and universities, and vigorously cultivate a team of physical education teachers and coaches. Standardize the construction of youth sports social organizations, and encourage and support the development of youth sports clubs.

Combined with the implementation of the current "double reduction" policy, the integration of sports and education has ushered in greater development space, of which ice and snow will be further promoted on campus. Pearl Spring Primary School in Yanqing District, Beijing is geographically remote, 50 kilometers away from Yanqing County, in the practice of ice and snow entering the campus, the school uses natural conditions to sort out a flat ice surface on the frozen river in front of the school in winter for students to learn skating and ice hockey. This year, for the first time, they participated in the Beijing Inter-school Ice Hockey League for Primary and Secondary School Students, which was also the first time that the children stood on the complete ice rink to play, allowing the "mountain children" to go out of the mountains and broaden their horizons. "Previously, we could only do a short summer training for ten days in part of an ice rink in the summer borrowing area. Hearing that they could play on the complete ice rink, the children were really excited and looking forward to it, and spontaneously practiced with dryland ice hockey in groups of three or five. Teacher Wang Meng introduced.

In the past, due to the lack of upward mobility, many ice hockey children often had to give up the sport of ice hockey after the end of their secondary school studies, or find another way out. The integration of sports and education in colleges and universities provides more choices and directions for these children. Both the China Ice Hockey Academy and the Beijing Sports Vocational School have made new explorations in the "integration of sports and education". The original intention of the establishment of the China Ice Hockey Sports Academy is to cultivate ice hockey reserve talents for the country and try to forge a path of "sports and education integration". "This year is the first batch of children to participate in the college entrance examination in the three years since the establishment of the college, three of whom were admitted to the Capital Institute of Physical Education and three of them were admitted to Beijing Sport University. For us, this is in keeping with our original purpose and philosophy. Wang Chunlu said, "As an important position for the integration of sports and education, I hope that we can become an emerging force in cultivating ice hockey reserve talents." ”

The China Ice Hockey Association has created the "Head Goose Plan", reached a strategic cooperation intention with Peking University and Tsinghua University around the development of the school ice hockey team and the integration of ice hockey sports and education, gave full play to the "head goose effect" of colleges and universities, promoted the promotion and development of ice hockey in colleges and universities, activated the atmosphere of college ice hockey, and led the way for ice hockey students to advance to higher education. The Beijing Elite Ice Hockey Championship, jointly sponsored by Peking University and peking university affiliated middle schools, connects primary schools, middle schools and universities, and is a useful supplement to the Beijing youth ice hockey competition system. Wang Dongmin, deputy secretary of the Sports Department of Peking University, said: "Sports carry the dream of a strong country and a rejuvenated nation. We will continue to explore the four-in-one ice hockey education system of teaching, learning, practicing and racing, popularizing ice and snow knowledge, planting ice and snow culture, and strong ice and snow atmosphere. ”

Trapped by geographical restrictions and economic conditions, for a long time, the mass base of ice and snow sports in China is relatively weak, and the talent reserve is seriously insufficient. With the improvement of China's economic level, the people's living standards are becoming more and more abundant, the awareness of national fitness has gradually penetrated the hearts of the people, and ice and snow sports have also broken through the restrictions of regions and seasons and become a new choice for exercise habits. With the establishment of ice and snow venues in the western and southern regions of China, ice and snow courses have entered the school classroom, and more children have been exposed to ice and snow projects and enjoyed the joy of ice and snow sports. This winter, the students of Quanzhou Experimental Primary School in Fujian Province used the winter vacation time to participate in an "ice and snow winter camp" on the school playground, and the children put on cross-country skates, held up walking sticks, and experienced the joy of cross-country skiing on the plastic track.

The plan points out that in the new five years, a number of new skating rinks will be built, and it is conceivable that more schools and students will be brutal and physically strong on the real ice.
