Wang Yuanhe
Wang Yuanhe (1916-1997). Zodiac Sign: Dragon. A native of Anfu County, Jiangxi Province.
In 1929, he joined the Communist Youth League of China, and in 1930 he became a member of the Communist Party of China and joined the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army.
During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, he served as a propagandist in the Political Department of the 4th Division of the Red 3rd Army, a youth officer of the Political Department of the 11th Regiment, an instructor of the Guard Company of the Central Revolutionary Military Commission, and a deputy section chief of the Political Department of the 10th Division of the Red 4th Army;

During the National War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he successively served as the secretary of the general branch of the 2nd Branch of the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University, the director of the directly subordinate political office, and the political commissar of the 46th Regiment of the 3rd Military Subdistrict of the Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region of the Eighth Route Army.

In 1955, he was awarded the rank of colonel of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and in 1962 he was promoted to major general; he was awarded the Order of August 1 of the Third Class, the Order of Independence and Freedom of the Second Class, the Liberation Medal of the Second Class, and the Order of Merit of the Red Star of the First Class.
