The "Anshi Rebellion" broke out in the fourteenth year of Tianbao, that is, in 755 AD, and An Lushan died in 757 AD, he died at the hands of his own son.
An Lushan was originally obese, and after his rebellion, his eyesight also declined, and he also had poisonous sores on his body, in short, his physical condition was not optimistic.
Because of his poor physical condition, An Lushan's temperament also became irritable and irritable, and he beat the officials with a whip at every turn, and even killed them. After being called emperor, he lived in the deep palace, and it was difficult for the generals to report to him that it was difficult to see him, and they all relied on strict and solemn briefings.
Yan Zhuang was also whipped by An Lushan, but the most beaten was a eunuch named Li Pig'er, and the people around An Lushan at that time were very afraid, afraid that they would be cut down by An Lushan one day.
At that time, An Lushan had a concubine, gave birth to a son named Qing'en, wanted to replace An Qingxu's crown prince, An Qingxu was very afraid, so Yan Zhuang and Li Pig'er found An Qingxu, and the three of them colluded together to prepare to do something.

"Zhuang and Qingxu stood outside the tent with their soldiers at night, and the pig took the knife straight into the tent, and the belly of the Mountain of Xuelu was cut. Left and right are afraid, do not dare to move. Lu Shan grabbed the knife next to the pillow, did not get it, shook the tent pole, and said: "The thief of the family will also be." "The abdomen has been bleeding several times, and he died."
At night, Yan Zhuang and An Qingxu stood outside An Lushan's tent, and Li Pig'er entered the tent with a large knife in his hand and slashed at An Lushan's abdomen.
The people around An Lushan did not dare to move, and An Lushan touched the knife next to the pillow, but he did not touch it.
He shook the tent and said that this must have been done by the thief, but realized that it was too late, and his abdomen was cut by Li Pig'er, and a large amount of intestines flowed out, and he died in a short time.
An Lushan's death belonged to the overturning of the ship in the gutter, and the way of his own son.
In the third year of the Outbreak of the Anshi Rebellion, An Lushan died.
It is reasonable to say that the leader of the rebellion is dead, and the rebel army should soon collapse, but why is An Lushan dead, and the rebellion not only did not end, but lasted for 8 years?
To put it simply, although An Qingxu, the son of An Lushan, is a straw bag, Shi Siming still has two brushes.
So since Shi Siming still has two brushes, why was the "Anshi Rebellion" put down for 8 years? Doesn't last much longer? Is it because Tang General Guo Ziyi is too powerful? In fact, the real reason should be infighting within the rebel army, the leader has changed and changed, and there is no fixed main bone.

1, An Qingxu succeeded to the throne, and Guo Ziyi recovered Chang'an and Luoyang

After An Lushan's death, his son An Qingxu was the emperor, but this An Qingxu was faint and incompetent, and he could speak incoherently, so even if he took Over An Lushan's position, he would not be able to do anything big.
An Qingxu and Yan Zhuang got close, called him a brother, appointed him as the Imperial Master, listened to Yan Zhuang in everything, he had no opinion at all, he knew to eat, drink and have fun every day, Yan Zhuang was afraid that An Qingxu's appearance could not convince the public, so he did not let him come out to see people.
Frontline battle situation: The Tang general Guo Ziyi believed that Hedong was in a special position, living between Tokyo and Xijing, and that after occupying Hedong, the two capitals would be easy to recover, so he sent people to infiltrate Hedong and join forces with Tang officials in Hedong to pacify Hedong.
Ten days after Emperor Suzong of Tang's reign, Li Heng arrived at Fengxiang, and reinforcements from Longyou, Hexi, Anxi, and the Western Regions all came to meet him.
Li Heng wrote to Li Longji, the Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, who had taken refuge in Shu, and the messengers were endless, and the people of Chang'an heard that the emperor had arrived, and they fled from the rebels to join the officials.
The situation of the officers and troops was very good, and this was also thanks to Guo Ziyi's reconquest of Hedong.
After this, Emperor Suzong of Tang appointed Guo Ziyi as the deputy marshal of Sikong and Tianxia Terracotta Army, and asked him to take soldiers and horses to Fengxiang, and the rebel general Li Guiren intercepted Guo Ziyi, and Guo Ziyi let the generals ambush and almost completely annihilate the rebels.
Later, Guo Ziyi and Wang Sili merged and stationed on the west bank of the Weishui River, fighting with the rebels An Shouzhong and Li Guiren.
Internal situation: Rebels: An Qingxu appointed Shi Siming as The Envoy of Fanyang Jiedushi, when An Lushan occupied the two capitals, he transported the treasures of the two capitals to Fanyang, so Fanyang was a treasure house, Shi Siming had heavy troops in his hands, and he had property, and all of a sudden, an Qingxu gradually could not restrain him.
Officials and soldiers: The imperial court did not have much money, and meritorious soldiers could only reward officials and knights, but they were only used to distinguish the size of their positions and used to rule, and there was no substantive reward.
As a result, the secretaries of state, the great generals, the middle langs, and the lang generals all kinds of positions, and the matter of official rewards and knighthoods was rampant, that is to say, the official positions were no longer worthwhile.
However, at that time, there was nothing to treat the soldiers, and they could only be motivated in this way, so under the leadership of the Tang general Guo Ziyi, the official army recaptured Chang'an and Luoyang in June and August 757.

2, Shi Siming killed An Qingxu and established himself as Emperor of The Great Yan, Keluoyang

An Qingxu was originally a man of little ability, and although his henchmen were far away from Germany when he first arrived in Yecheng, the good villains still occupied more than sixty cities in seven counties, and their weapons and food were plentiful.
But he does not pay attention to political affairs, the specific point should be that he can't handle political affairs with his intelligence, but this guy can't do the right thing, but he is very good at building palaces and drinking and having fun.
The chancellor fought for power again, and it was easy for a general named Cai Xide to have talent and could directly advise, but he was killed by Zhang Tongru's rumors, so thousands of Cai Xide's men ran away, and the remaining generals were no longer willing to contribute.
An Qingxu also appointed Cui Qianyou as the world's soldier and horse envoy, taking over the military power, but this man was just ready to kill and was unpopular.
On the other hand, Guo Ziyi defeated the rebel An Taiqing, An Taiqing retreated to defend the state, and An Qingxu sent all his troops to the rescue with 70,000 troops, but Guo Ziyi made a move in the battle to pretend to be defeated and retreat, lured the enemy to go deeper, defeated An Qingxu, and also captured An Qingxu's younger brother An Qinghe.
After overcoming Weizhou, Guo Ziyi chased after Yicheng without stopping, An Qingxu was defeated again, An Qingxu was frightened, and at the critical moment he thought of Shi Siming, so he wanted to give up the throne to Shi Siming, hoping that Shi Siming would come to save him.
Shi Siming did not sit idly by, and sent 130,000 soldiers to save Yecheng, but he did not dare to act rashly.
In 759, Shi Siming built an altar in Weizhou City, claiming to be the King of Great Saint Yan, while An Qingxu's Yicheng was surrounded by Guo Ziyi and other nine knots, and An Qingxu was already cornered, running out of grain, and waiting for Shi Siming to save him.
At this time, Shi Siming led his army from Wei prefecture to Yecheng, the two sides fought, the officers and soldiers were defeated, fled south, and then abandoned Luoyang.
After Shi Siming learned of the defeat of the official army, he deliberately tricked An Qingxu and wanted to find him, But An Qingxu did not know how to be good, so he first bowed to Shi Siming and said that when Shi Siming was settled, he would offer the emperor's seal.
Shi Siming replied falsely:
May it be a nation of brothers, and even more a barrier. Standing on its feet, Judah or Shuji, the gift of the north, I dare not accept it. ”
Shi Siming's meaning in the letter was to get along with An Qingxu, who did not dare to accept him.
An Qingxu, the fool, was very happy after seeing the letter, and he went upside down, but what awaited him was that there was no return. An Qingxu went with three hundred cavalry, and Shi Siming had the soldiers fully armed and brought An Qingxu and his brothers to the court.
An Qingxu first served softly and said that he was incompetent and lost something erjing.
Unexpectedly, Shi Siming did not follow his steps at all, but said angrily:
"If you abandon the two, what is enough!" Er is the Son of Man, who kills the Father and takes his throne, and the heavens and the earth will not tolerate it. I beg for the thief of the Emperor Taishang, how can I be flattered! ”
Shi Siming pulled An Qingxu out and cut him off on the grounds that An Qingxu had killed his father and seized the throne, along with his four younger brothers. Shi Siming turned his face faster than he turned the book, and An Qingxu was planted in his hands.
After An Qingxu's death, Shi Siming proclaimed himself Emperor of Great Yan and made his son Shi Chaoyi crown prince.
Shi Siming's move of killing An Qingxu is no more than an Qingxu's killing of An Lushan' justice, it is all sinister and vicious killing and seizing the throne, and there is no difference. After Shi Siming killed An Qingxu, he himself did not get any good end.

3, Shi Siming was killed by his son Shi Chaoyi, and the Anshi Rebellion is coming to an end

Shi Siming, a person with a complicated heart, loves to be jealous, and if the people around him are not as good as he wants, he will kill others of the Nine Tribes at every turn, causing others to be afraid.
Then he had a son named Shi Chaoyi, that is, his crown prince, Shi Chaoyi often went to war with Shi Siming, his personality was not like Shi Siming, he was more cautious, and he also cherished soldiers, so the soldiers all turned to Shi Chaoyi.
However, although Shi Chaoyi was made crown prince, he was not favored by Shi Siming, who loved his younger son Shi Chaoqing, and often thought of killing Shi Chaoyi and making Shi Chaoqing the crown prince.
Shi Chaoyi was very flustered, plus he attacked several times, all of which were defeated by Wei Boyu, Shi Siming thought that he was timid, and did not like him even more, and wanted to kill him as a warlord.
Shi Chaoyi was worried, and with the help of Luo Yue and others, he killed Shi Siming.
At that time, the situation was like this, Luo Yue led his soldiers into Shi Siming's bedroom, Shi Siming was going to the toilet, heard the change and wanted to escape on horseback, was shot in the arm by Luo Yue's attendant, and then fell off his horse and was caught.
Shi Siming asked who was causing the rebellion, Luo Yue said it was your son, Shi Siming knew it, but he was a little unwilling, he was dying and still wanted to conquer Chang'an, but he had no chance.
The army reached Liuquan, and Luo Yue and the others strangled Shi Siming to death.
After Shi Siming's death, Shi Chaoyi succeeded to the throne, and he killed Shi Chaoqing and Shi Chaoqing's mother, but at that time, his subordinates were all contemporaries of Shi Siming, and Shi Chaoyi could not summon them at all, and their relationship with Shi Chaoyi was only a superficial monarch.

4, Shi Chaoyi was repeatedly defeated and forced to commit suicide

From the rebellion of An Lushan, to the time When An Lushan was succeeded by An Qingxu, to Shi Siming's killing of An Qingxu as emperor, to Shi Siming's murder by Shi Chaoyi and usurpation of the throne, the "Anshi Rebellion" was changed several times, and by the first year of Guangde, that is, in 763 AD, it was already the 8th year.
In this year, Shi Chaoyi repeatedly went to war, but all suffered defeats, and the Hui army entered Chang'an, Tokyo, killing and plundering wantonly, but for the imperial court, it was also a recapture of the land occupied by the rebels.
Shi Chaoyi was defeated and retreated, Tian Chengsi persuaded Shi Chaoyi to go to Youzhou to recruit troops, Shi Chaoyi followed his advice and rushed out of the siege with five thousand elite horses, but as soon as Shi Chaoyi left, Tian Chengsi surrendered.
Tian Chengsi sent Shi Chaoyi's mother, wife, and son to the official army, and Shi Chaoyi was also caught up by the official Xue Jianxun and others, and the two sides fought a big battle, and Shi Chaoyi was defeated again.
At that time, Shi Chaoyi's subordinate Fanyang Jiedu made Li Huaixian surrender to the imperial court, and sent Li Baozhong to lead troops to defend the town, Shi Chaoyi came to Fanyang, Li Baozhong did not let him enter the city, there were officials and troops chasing after him, Shi Chaoyi was very afraid.
Shi Chaoyi knew that he had reached the end of the road and begged Li Baozhong to let himself eat a full meal, so Li Baozhong served meals in the east of the city, and after eating, Shi Chaoyi's hundreds of Hu cavalrymen all left, leaving Shi Chaoyi alone crying bitterly.
Shi Chaoyi became a veritable "light rod commander" and a "lonely man".
In the end, Shi Chaoyi wanted to go west into xi and Khitan territory, but Li Huaixian quickly sent troops to catch up with them, so the desperate Shi Chaoyi could only choose to hang himself in the woods and end his life.
