The "Anshi Rebellion" was a turning point in the Tang Dynasty from prosperity to decline, although in the Tang Xuanzong period there was the famous "Kaiyuan Shengshi" in history, which made the entire Tang Dynasty flourish to the extreme, but in the later period of Tang Xuanzong's rule, it began to be a little sloppy and passive in its rule. With the passage of time, the contradictions of the whole society at that time were more and more numerous, and they gradually intensified. The "Anshi Rebellion" is just a concentrated manifestation of the thorough intensification of contradictions.
On December 16, 755, An Lushan raised an army at Fanyang under the pretext of "worrying about the danger of the country" and rushed straight to the capital. Throughout the mutiny, Shi Siming was the vanguard, and within a month, they captured the whole of Luoyang. An Lushan had always longed for the position of emperor, so after occupying Luoyang, he could not wait to prepare for his own title of emperor. On the first day of the first lunar month in 756, An Lushan proclaimed himself Emperor Xiongwu and changed the name of the country to Great Yan.
However, although this An Lushan was said to be emperor, who would have thought that he would be killed by his own son An Qingxu. At that time, An Lushan had 11 sons, but he liked his youngest son the most, in fact, it was understandable, small, cute and loved who did not like, but his second son An Qingxu was a little dissatisfied. In 757, An Qingxu became the new leader of the entire rebel army.
However, An Lushan had the help of Shi Siming's entire master of strategy, but this An Qingxu did not. Shi Qingming did not help An Qingxu, first, this An Qingxu really had no ability, Shi Siming was far stronger than him; second, this An Qingxu had no influence, and he really could not be convinced by Shi Siming. In addition, this An Qingxu did not trust Shi Siming so much in his heart, and There was also a fairly elite army under Ah Zi Shi Siming, so there was no cooperation between them.
In 758, An Qingxu was besieged by Guo Ziyi and Li Guangbi's 200,000 troops, and An Qingxu had no choice but to go to Shi Siming for help, but Shi Siming did not agree at first. Later, Shi Siming sent troops, causing Guo Ziyi's side to withdraw its troops before giving up. However, not long after that, in 759 AD, he was killed by Shi Siming's design. Shi Siming later claimed to be Emperor Ying Tian (really dare to take it, that is, he wanted to say that he obeyed the Mandate of Heaven) and was ready to enjoy his beautiful emperor life. However, history repeats itself, and in 761 AD, Shi Siming also died at the hands of his own son. I have to say that some people really lose their humanity in the face of power.
I have to say that Shi Siming is indeed capable, he is very smart, especially in the military, very set. Although An Lushan has always been the leader of the "AnShi Rebellion," Shi Siming is the manipulator behind the scenes. One can see the person who performed on stage, but it is difficult to find the person behind the scenes. If we talk about the overall strength, in fact, Shi Siming is higher than An Lushan.
