Lü Duan was only a supporting role in the TV series "Great Song Palace Words", but in the later years of Song Taizong, he became the prime minister, and zhao Heng died shortly after he ascended the throne.
This is true in history, and after he became prime minister, he was able to sit firmly in the position of prime minister. So why is Lü Duan like this? There are three main reasons for this.
1. Zhao Pu's recommendation
Lü Duan can become the prime minister, and Zhao Pu's recommendation is very critical. Zhao Pu once said that Lü Duan was moody and angry, and was a suitable candidate for the prime minister. This shows that Lü Duan is atmospheric, calm, sensible, and considering the overall situation, which is exactly the quality that the prime minister should have, so Zhao Pu recommended him as the prime minister, which is very appropriate.
We often say that the prime minister can hold a boat in his belly, Lü Duan is such a person, and Zhao Pu is an old minister, successively two emperors, and Song Taizong should also consider his words. Therefore, Lü Duan attracted the attention of Song Taizong.
2. Song Taizong's appreciation
Lü Duan not only met the criteria of the prime minister, but his talent also met the position of prime minister, so Song Taizong admired him. When Lü Meng was the prime minister, Song Taizong proposed to make Lü Duan the prime minister, but some ministers objected, believing that Lü Duan was confused.
However, Song Taizong said: "Lü Duan is confused about small things, and big things are not confused", and also wrote a poem to express that Lü Duan is the best candidate for the prime minister.
So soon, Emperor Taizong of Song made Lü Mengzheng a counselor, and Lü Duan became a servant and soldier Shangshu, officially becoming the prime minister, at this time Lü Duan was sixty years old.
Lü Duan was generous and appropriate, so that Song Taizong liked him very much, and his personality would not offend people, so no one told Song Taizong bad things about him, and no one would frame him, so his phase was much more stable than when Kou Zhun, Cao Yong, Ding Zhi and others were prime ministers mentioned in our previous articles.
3. Protection of Emperor Taizong of Song
After Lü Duan became the prime minister, there was no other minister fighting with him, mainly song Taizong's protection of Lü Duan, why do you say so?
Because Emperor Taizong of Song avoided the ministers from fighting with each other, he was especially worried that Lü Duan was above Kou Zhun in the rank of ministers, which made Kou Zhun dissatisfied.
Therefore, Song Taizong let Kou Zhun and Lü Duan take turns in charge of the affairs of the Xiangfu, thus avoiding the two of them from competing for power and merit.
Then, on the grounds that there were too many twists and turns and there were big differences of opinion, Emperor Taizong of Song entrusted the affairs of the imperial court to Lü Duan, and the affairs had to be seen by Lü Duan before he could play Song Taizong.
In this way, Lü Duan became the prime minister in power, so Song Taizong slowly transferred power to Lü Duan, so that Lü Duan did not have major twists and turns in the phase
Lü Duan's phase is very solid, mainly thanks to two people, Zhao Pu and Song Taizong. Zhao Pu's recommendation accelerated Song Taizong's appointment and trust in Lü Duan.
In order to avoid chaos, Emperor Taizong of Song protected Lü Duan and gradually transferred power to Lü Duan, which can also be said that Song Taizong was a very wise emperor.
Although Lü Duan had some minor mistakes, he still knew very well how to deal with it in the face of great right and wrong. This also tells us that no one is perfect, a little mistake, a small mistake is OK, but we cannot give in on the issue of principle.
Song Taizong and Lü Duan complement each other, but also suitable for enterprise management in modern society, if the bosses know how to appoint employees, without contradictions between employees, and let employees maximize the benefit of the company, then their enterprises will also be well developed.
