(Chen Bijun and Wang Jingwei)
Some people say that Chiang Kai-shek is afraid of Soong Mei-ling, but in fact, he is not, mainly respecting Soong Mei-ling. Chiang Kai-shek did have a woman who was afraid, this woman was Chiang Kai-shek's sworn enemy, and the two of them did not speak when they met, and when they spoke, they were sure to quarrel. She was Wang Jingwei's wife, Chen Bijun.
Chan was born in 1891 in Penang, Malaysia to a wealthy overseas Chinese business family.
When he was still studying, Chen Bijun often saw articles written by people named "Jingwei" in the newspaper, Chen Bijun admired the author's insight very much, and Chen Bijun had the idea of meeting him. Wang Jingwei was looking for an opportunity to assassinate Qing politicians, so she invited Chen Bijun to join, and she was very happy. However, due to the failure of the secrecy work, the assassination activity ended in failure, and Wang Jingwei was captured by the Qing soldiers. After Wang Jingwei was arrested, he was held in a prison on the northern outskirts of Beijing. Chen Bijun ran around trying to rescue him. In October 1911, Wang Jingwei was released from prison, and Wang and Chen were married in Shanghai in early 1912.
Chen Bijun is a woman with a strong desire for political participation and power, and after marrying Wang Jingwei, she actively advised Wang Jingwei. Even Chiang Kai-shek was afraid of her three points.
When Chen Bijun was at his worst, he directly scolded Chiang Kai-shek to his face. On November 1, 1935, the Kuomintang held its Fifth National Congress. After the opening ceremony, the committee members were given group photos.
Since some of the committee members had not yet arrived (Chiang Kai-shek did not arrive), everyone waited, and Wang Jingwei always had a smile on his face and seemed to be immersed in the joy of the opening ceremony. After waiting for half a day, Chiang Kai-shek did not arrive, and a group of people were busy preparing to start shooting. suddenly! A reporter popped out of the crowd, pulling out his pistol as he ran forward. Pull the trigger 3 times in a row, Wang Jingwei fell to the ground in response! The crowd fled in fright, and Zhang Xueliang grabbed the perpetrator.
After hearing the gunshots, Chen Bijun pulled away from the crowd and hugged Wang Jingwei. After about three or two minutes, Chiang Kai-shek ran down on the second floor to check it out.
Chen Bijun couldn't do it! Looking at her husband, who was covered in blood, she twisted Chiang Kai-shek's collar with both hands and shouted viciously: "You don't want Mr. Wang to do it, Mr. Wang can not do it!" Why send someone to kill this?! ”
Wang Jingwei's confidant Chen Gongbo scolded: "This is Mr. Jiang's conspiracy!" Chiang Kai-shek quickly retorted, and Chen Bijun shouted again: "If it is not your plan, why don't you come out to take pictures!" ”

In 1943, Wang Jingwei's gunshot wound recurred. On November 10, 1944, Wang Jingwei fell into a coma after a high fever, and the medicine did not work, and he died.
After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the case of traitors and traitors became a serious case that attracted the attention of the whole country, and how to punish these traitors who betrayed the country and sought glory and confessed their sins as fathers has become a quiz question placed in front of the media and the public. Chen Bijun was sentenced to life imprisonment for "conspiring against an enemy country and plotting to rebel against his own country." When the verdict was pronounced in court, she loudly defended: "I have the courage to die, but I have no patience to go to prison, so I hope that the court will change the sentence to death!" ”
In September 1949, the Chinese Political Consultative Conference was held in Beijing, during which Song Qingling and He Xiangning approached Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai and interceded for Chen Bijun. Song Qingling, He Xiangning and Chen Bijun had a deep personal relationship, and remembering their old friendship, they asked the chairman and the premier to pardon Chen Bijun.
Mao Zedong agreed to the request, saying: "Chen Bijun is a very capable and powerful woman, but unfortunately she has gone the wrong way." Since Mr. Song and Mr. He interceded for Chen Bijun, I think I asked her to write a confession statement, and the people's government issued a pardon order to release her. ”
Chen Bijun did not appreciate the kindness of Song Qingling and He Xiangning, and she wrote back to Song Qingling and He Xiangning to refuse, to the effect that the Communist Party wanted me to repent, but it was nothing more than holding the old view of the Chiang regime and thinking that I was a traitor. Neither Mr. Wang nor I have betrayed the country, and the real traitor is Chiang Kai-shek. I don't need to count the facts, the two gentlemen know what they know, and the Communist Party knows what they want. Thank you from the bottom of your hearts for your concern and love for me.
