Artist Profile
Wen Wei, female, young calligrapher and painter, Ph.D. in landscape painting research of China Academy of Arts, is employed as an adjunct professor of Nankai University and Tianjin University. Born in Sichuan, Wen Wei learned to paint at the age of four, linshu at the age of five, chengting training in young children, hanmo, spiritual wisdom, and little success, and won many awards in Sichuan Province and even the National Youth Calligraphy and Painting Competition. After graduating from university, he studied under the famous master of calligraphy and painting, Cui Ruzhuo, immersed himself in the study of Chinese painting and calligraphy, and for more than ten years, he had no distractions, specialized in thinking, inheriting tradition, daring to break through, and having high achievements in freehand landscapes, ladies and calligraphy.
Wen Wei is known as the "little woman who paints big paintings" in the painting world, and the landscape painting works are mostly based on the accumulation of ink and splashing ink as a technique, which not only has the vast and majestic beauty of the northern school of landscapes, but also loses the beauty and pleasantness of the southern school of landscapes, and the paintings show the majestic and profound artistic conception of nature, showing the painter's solid pen and ink skills and profound artistic accomplishment, as well as the aesthetic pursuit of the spirit of contemporary landscape painting. It is also the artist's voice of good wishes for the party and the motherland with pen and ink and lines.
In this exhibition, her artistic thinking over the years can be concentrated: whether it is her representative huge landscape, or the magnificent wild cursive calligraphy, or the beautiful lines and flexible brush strokes of the lady paintings, it is refreshing.
