The inspiration for this painting comes from Chairman Mao's poem "Picking Mulberries and Chongyang". The poem was composed by the Chairman in 1929 during the agrarian revolution. Wen Wei entered the scene with affection and empathized with the revolutionary optimism of the Chinese Communists who were not afraid of difficulties.

Wen Wei is one of the few female painters in China who can create a large painting of one zhang and two landscapes.

The reason why Wen Wei has excellent traditional skills stems from a unique family education, and she is an intellectual who grew up with traditional education. At the age of four, Wen Wei was enlightened by the Tao Te Ching and the Mustard Garden Painting Spectrum, and the Tao Te Ching melted into her spiritual bloodline. In his youth, Wen Wei, who was originally a fledgling, met Mr. Rao Zongyi, the seventh president of the Xiling Printing Society and a master of traditional Chinese studies, in Hong Kong, and Elder Rao was surprised that Wen Wei opened his mouth to come to the classics of traditional Chinese studies, and specially wrote a character for Wen Wei - "Good Ancient Music Road". "Good ancient" refers to Wen Wei's unique ancient literati qualities, and "Le Dao" refers to the Taoist temperament of Wen Wei's immortal wind Dao bones.

Wen Wei's Jiangnan literati temperament is exactly in line with Jiangxi's cultural temperament. "A flower and a tree of black and white poetry, a mountain and a water of several colors."

Wen Wei lives in the Beijing art circle, not bypassing other doors, chasing the Ming, Qing, Song and Yuan dynasties, and painting the Tao to find roots, which may be the enlightenment of her familiar recitation of the Tao Te Ching. "It should be her inspirational motto for Qing cultivation, indeed, decadent and self-indulgent, and the art path is difficult to achieve."
