author:Zhang Shengquan's wonderful history

In the late Qing Dynasty, Wusheng Sun Lutang and Li Shuwen were the top martial arts masters recommended by the martial arts community at that time, and they were all lifelong martial arts competitions and never lost. So compared with these two people, who has higher martial arts?

At that time, there was a saying in the jianghu that "martial saints have false places, and sharp guns really kill people", so what does this sentence mean? From this sentence, can you judge the martial arts of the two people?

Speaking of Martial Saint Sun Lu Tang, presumably everyone who is interested in martial arts knows him.

Sun Lutang was the founder of the martial arts of Sun Taijiquan. In the early years, Sun Lutang traveled for several years due to his obsession with martial arts, and under the conditions of extremely inconvenient transportation at that time, he successively went to Hebei, Henan, Sichuan, Hubei, Guangdong and other places. Whenever he went to a place, he sought out martial arts masters and hermits to learn the art. In addition, he went to Wudang, Emei and Shaolin to learn boxing.

After learning the strengths of each family, Sun Lutang integrated the essence of form, bagua, tai chi and other essences into one, and successfully founded the self-contained Sun's Taijiquan.

Sun Lutang has a lot of reputation in martial arts, such as "Martial Saint", "Martial God", "Universal Hand", "Tiger Head Shaobao", "The First Hand in the World" and so on. The reason why he was famous during the Republic of China period was that on the one hand, he wrote books and lectures, and wrote many works on martial arts. On the other hand, he has also played countless times in his life and has never been defeated.

It should be said that the two most beautiful competitions of Sun Lutang are related to the Japanese.

In 1920, the Japanese Emperor sent the Japanese jiu-jitsu champion Kazuo Sakagaki to China for martial arts exchanges and martial arts with Chinese martial artists. As a result, Kazuo Sakagaki won a battle against many Chinese martial arts masters, which made him very arrogant and openly called Chinese "the sick man of East Asia". This made the Chinese martial arts community furious, and they publicly pushed Sun Lutang to compete with him. As a result, Sun Lutang lived up to expectations, defeated the enemy with one move, and threw Kazuo Sakagaki to the stage and won the victory. Kazuo Sakagaki was also convinced and has since left China.

When Sun Lutang was in his old age, the Emperor of Japan sent 5 more jiu-jitsu masters to challenge him, hoping for the shame of Ichiyuki's defeat that year. In the duel, 5 jiu-jitsu masters preemptively pushed Sun Lutang to the ground. Before they could be happy, Sun Lutang rose up, and the 5 Japanese masters were shocked to the ground and failed to get up for half a day.

Sun Lutang's two great victories over the Japanese made the Chinese people talk about it, and Sun Lutang also became a national hero. In addition, he can also write martial arts books compared to other martial arts masters, so he also satisfies the various ideas of the Chinese people about the great hero, which is one of the reasons why his reputation is louder than other martial arts masters.

Indeed, compared to Sun Lutang, the sharpshooter Li Shuwen was much more eclipsed. However, this does not mean that Li Shuwen's martial arts are inferior to Sun Lutang's.

Li Shuwen can be regarded as the elder of Sun Lutang. He was born in 1829 and was 31 years older than Sun Lutang. Like Sun Lutang, they are all from Hebei.

Compared with Sun Lutang, Li Shuwen's physical condition was too poor. He was short and thin. In the eyes of martial arts teachers, he was not born a martial arts material, so many martial arts teachers were reluctant to accept him as an apprentice.

Despite the constant blows, Li Shuwen, who was almost obsessed with martial arts, did not change his original intention, and still had great hopes and wanted to worship a powerful martial arts master as a teacher. Not to mention, Li Shuwen really met a master who was willing to take him as an apprentice, and he was also two martial arts masters: one was Zhang Jingxing, the fourth generation of the Eight Pole Quan, and the other was The Liupin Ding Dai Huang Shihai, who was famous for his stick and stick marksmanship.

At first, Li Shuwen practiced Eight Pole Boxing with Zhang Jingxing for 3 years. Because he was talented and diligent, Huang Shihai, who was familiar with Zhang Jingxing, liked him very much and thought that he was a martial arts wizard, so he taught him big marksmanship. Li Shuwen was clever and clever, and he was diligent and fast, and his masters Li Dazhong and Zhang Keming also liked him very much, and they could not avoid guiding him to learn martial arts. Under the guidance of these 4 masters, after 12 years of hard training, Li Shuwen's eight pole boxing and big gun technique were all perfectly practiced and fascinating.

Li Shuwen practiced very hard, almost not what ordinary people could do.

When Li Shuwen studied art at his master's house, he did not live in his master's house, but like a day student, he had to walk 16 miles of mountain roads every day to practice boxing at his master's house. He practiced his footwork on the road every day, and then practiced boxing at his master's house, so his leg skills also made great progress.

In addition, Li Shuwen also regarded the trees near his home as the object of fist training, and as a result, over the years, those trees were all shocked to death by his fists and feet.

As for practicing marksmanship, it is even harder. During the day he pierced the copper coin hole with the tip of the gun, and at night he took the tip of the gun and pierced the incense stick on the head of the star. After thousands of practices, he could stab the tip of the gun into the eye of the copper coin with a light stab, or take the gun and pick it up, and he could pick out the spark head.

According to Li Shuwen's apprentice Liu Yunqiao, Li Shuwen's marksmanship was practiced to a certain time, and he could also take the tip of the gun and prick the flies on the window paper, and pierce one accurately, and the window paper was not broken.

In addition to being technically powerful, Li Shuwen's strength is also very large. He can easily pick up more than 80 pounds of large wheels with a gun stick, and shake the wheel like a windmill, and the gun stick will not collide with the wheel to make a strange sound.

After more than ten years of hard study, Li Shuwen mastered a lot of martial arts. In addition to the most skilled big marksmanship and eight pole fists, such as mixed yuan gong, shenxing gong, internal gong, light gong, soft gong and thousand pounds of divine power, he is all exquisite. With the ultimate martial arts skills, Li Shuwen, like Sun Lutang, has never been defeated in a lifetime of martial arts.

However, when Sun Lutang competed in the competition, he was "red when he shot", but Li Shuwen was "merciless when he shot red".

In 1895, when Yuan Shikai was training troops in Tianjin, he tried his best to recruit martial arts masters for his use, and spent a lot of money to invite Toyo instructors to train new soldiers. Li Shuwen's master, Huang Shihai, also received a letter of appointment from Yuan Shikai. However, due to his advanced age, Huang Shihai recommended Li Shuwen to serve as an instructor.

When Li Shuwen appeared in front of Yuan Shikai with a big gun, Yuan Shikai saw that he was thin and unassuming, so he regarded him as Huang Shihai's domestic servant and was very cold to him.

By the time Li Shuwen explained his intentions, the instructors were already smiling and leaning forward. In particular, The Toyo instructor Ito Taro loudly mocked him in front of everyone as a "big Sick Man of East Asia" and hooked his little finger to the ground. Itotaro's attitude infuriated Li Shuwen, and without saying a word, he stabbed it at Itotaro with a gun, and Itotaro blocked the tip of his gun with a knife and slashed at Li Shuwen's head. Who knew that when Li Shuwen raised his gun, the tip of the gun plunged into Itotaro's throat. Then he flicked it, and Itotaro's body flew like a sandbag outside the hall.

Along with Ito Taro are three other Japanese masters who see their companions killed and rush up to avenge them. As a result, Li Shuwen's big gun was like a dragon, his movements were like lightning, three picks and two stabs, and 3 Japanese masters were punctured to the point of blurring flesh and blood, and they were killed in an instant.

Just when the instructors were all stunned, Li Shuwen shook his big gun and suddenly plunged into the stone pillar next to Yuan Shikai. When the big gun was retrieved, I saw a fly that was still struggling in vain.

At this moment, everyone was impressed by Li Shuwen's superb marksmanship, and for a moment everyone couldn't help but applaud, even Yuan Shikai couldn't help but shout: "Sharp gun, sharp gun, this is a sharp gun!" ”

Since then, Li Shuwen has become famous in one battle and has become known as the "sharpshooter Li Shuwen".

In 1908, the Fengshi general Xu Lanzhou invited Li Shuwen to Fengtian as a guest. Speaking of which, Xu Lanzhou and Li Shuwen can also be regarded as old friends. They were already acquainted, and Xu Lanzhou's son was Li Shuwen's apprentice, so it was difficult for him to be generous, and Li Shuwen did not reject Xu Lanzhou.

The Fengzhi warlord Zhang Zuolin had long heard of Li Shuwen, the sharpshooter, so when he learned that Li Shuwen had arrived in Fengtian, he personally visited Li Shuwen at Xu Lanzhou's home and hoped that Li Shuwen would serve as the chief instructor of martial arts in Fengjun. Xu Lanzhou was also on the side to persuade Li Shuwen, and because of Xu Lanzhou's face, Li Shuwen had to agree.

The next day, Li Shuwen accompanied Zhang Zuolin to the guard training ground. At that time, Zhang Zuolin, because of the support of Japan, most of the instructors he hired when training the Fengjun were Japanese martial arts masters. These Japanese people were very dissatisfied when they saw that Li Shuwen was old and short, and they actually wanted to be their chief instructor. Among them, a Japanese named Okamoto, even offered to fight Li Shuwen. If the Japanese lost, they all left; if Li Shuwen lost, Li Shuwen left.

Although Zhang Zuolin had long heard of Li Shuwen's martial name, he had never seen his true kung fu with his own eyes, so he also wanted to take this opportunity to see Li Shuwen's strength.

Li Shuwen was well aware of Zhang Zuolin's thoughts, so he made a life-and-death situation with Okamoto according to the rules of martial arts. Then the two men pulled apart. As soon as Okamoto came up, he pounced on Li Shuwen, but Li Shuwen flashed to the side like an ape, and then turned around and slapped Okamoto's shoulder. As a result, Okamoto's shoulder blades were directly shattered. When the other Japanese instructors saw this, they were indignant and demanded a contest with Li Shuwen. Zhang Zuolin knew that Li Shuwen was a person who "saw the red and did not show mercy", so he did not agree to the request of the Japanese instructors.

In 1910, a Russian boxer named Malotov came to the city of Beijing. He set up a ring in Beijing, boasting that he was invincible in winning the battle against the universe. Especially after defeating the martial arts masters in Beijing and Tianjin, he arrogantly said that Chinese were "sick men of East Asia". This greatly angered the chinese people, so Li Shuwen decided that he would meet Malotov.

Malotov saw that Li Shuwen was a short and thin old man, very dismissive, and spit at him.

Li Shuwen was furious, and with just one punch, he hit Malotov in the eye with Venus. When Mallotov roared and rushed up, Li Shuwen slapped him again. The result was so powerful that Malotov not only had his ribs broken, but he was also shocked and fell out of the ring.

In this battle, the people all raised their eyebrows, and even the Qing government gave Li Shuwen a small golden Buddha statue and wanted to make him the top of the Five Pins and make him the chief instructor of the Guards. However, Li Shuwen was not interested in doing things for the Qing government, so he rejected the Qing government on the grounds that he wanted to serve his master Huang Shihai.

Li Shuwen has competed with people countless times in his life, because he shot fiercely, and the other party was either injured or killed after the shot, so he also had a nickname called "Li Fierce".

It is also for this reason that Li Shuwen in his later years behaved very strangely, so that many people thought that he had mental problems.

It turned out that as he grew older, Li Shuwen did not allow anyone to be within three steps. Even his closest apprentice, if he took three steps closer, would be thrown out by him.

In addition, he was walking outside, and whenever he turned a corner, he always made sharp turns, so that people did not know where he was going. Every time he ate out, Li Shuwen would let his apprentice eat first, and then he would move his mouth.

In fact, Li Shuwen's strange behavior is precisely because although he has not been defeated in his life's competitions, he has hurt and killed countless people, so there are many enemies. It is also for this reason that he did not have a family in his life, and he was very cautious in his living and eating in his old age.

Therefore, although Li Shuwen has never lost a martial art in his life, he has been criticized because of his fierce shots. Although Sun Lutang also kicked countless pavilions, he received it when he saw red. Therefore, although the two did not have the opportunity to fight, they did not know who was higher in the martial arts of the two world-class masters. But with the style of their competition, it seems that they have been able to judge the superiority.
