Founded in 2017, TipsWorks founder Yang Yang has been in the game industry since 2000, and has worked for Konami Shanghai for nearly a decade, participating in the production of games such as Pro Evolution Soccer, Silent Hill, and Castlevania. Before "Pascal Contract", the entrepreneurial team led by Yang Yang had launched a football mobile game, but the results of this game at that time were not enough to maintain the normal operation of the team.
In 2017, the "Pascal Contract" was officially launched, the game was released by Giant Network, and TipsWorks also received funding from Giant. In 2019, "Pascal Contract" appeared at Apple's autumn conference, and Yang Yang took the stage to make a relevant speech. In January 2020, "Pascal Covenant" was officially released, and after 10 months, it sold more than one million copies and was called a "mobile game with console quality". At present, the game has also completed the porting, listing PC platforms such as Steam and Epic.
In September this year, a person familiar with the matter told Game Daily that TipsWorks, which originally belonged to Giant Network, was about to replace the new owner. In October, TipsWorks and Folding Paper officially announced their partnership by publishing internal job postings. According to practitioners, this cooperation also means that paper games, which are known for women's games, have officially entered the field of hardcore action games.
