Wu Zuoren (1908-1997), born in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, was born in Jing County, Anhui Province. He is a famous contemporary Chinese painter and art educator. Gong poems, good books. In his early years, he studied under the Master of Chinese Painting Xu Beihong. In the early 1930s, he studied in France and Belgium, and after returning to China, he taught at Nanjing Central University, and later taught at the Peking Art College and held the position of provost. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he served as a director of the All-China Art Association and the All-China Fine Arts Association. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he taught at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and later served as the president. Mr. Wu Zuoren is good at oil painting and Chinese painting, and has made great achievements in art, the French government awarded him the "Highest Medal of Art and Literature" in 1985, and the "Medal of Honor of the Crown" in 1988.
