Adaptation of the traditional Tibetan drama "Princess Wencheng" was exhibited on October 20

Recently, this reporter learned from the Tibetan Opera Troupe of the Tibet Autonomous Region that the "Outstanding Stage Art Creation Project to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China" (100 Years of Traditional Fine Arts Rearrangement Plan) adapts the traditional Tibetan opera "Princess Wencheng" and will be staged at the "Tibetan Opera Art Center" theater of the Tibetan Opera Troupe in the Tibet Autonomous Region on October 20.

In the middle of the seventh century AD, Tubo Zampu Songzan Gampo decided to marry the Tang Dynasty in order to achieve good-neighborliness and friendship, introduce advanced culture, and promote the development of Tubo. The Tubo ambassador Lu Dongzan relied on his extraordinary wisdom to win successive victories in the battle of envoys of various countries conducted by the Tang Dynasty. The emperor did not want Princess Wencheng to marry Tubo and have problems, and Lu Dongzan won through various tests.

Princess Wencheng departed from Chang'an with a large number of classics and skilled craftsmen from Chang'an from the great cause of national friendship and national reunification, and Tang Taizong solemnly sent off. Princess Wencheng and Lu Dongzan and their party went through difficulties and obstacles by ploughing snowy mountains, crossing meadows, and crossing rapids, and they not only overcame all kinds of difficulties together with the Tibetan masses along the way, but also taught the Tibetan masses skills such as farming, weaving, and medicine, and sowed the seeds of advanced culture along the way.

Princess Wencheng was loved by the Tibetan masses and forged a deep friendship with tibetan compatriots.
