Xu Ying, born in 1983 in Meishan, Sichuan, to an intellectual family, is a full-fledged Sichuan girl. Her father was an employee of a company and her mother was an honorable teacher of the people.
Perhaps because of the relationship between professions, the parents' education method is very enlightened. From a young age, Xu Ying's parents have respected their daughter's every choice.
The relaxed and enlightened environment allows little Xu Ying to have more and broader developments in the future, she can boldly choose what she likes, as long as the general direction is correct, her parents will let her do it herself.
Xu Ying was already in school with many older brothers and sisters than her when she was four years older. At that time, although she was young, she had an extreme thirst for knowledge, and she only liked scientific books.

Later, by chance, she came into contact with the "Beidou" project. Xu Ying is very interested in this project, and her mentor is also very interested in her ability and talent.
Compared with other graduate students, Xu Ying is undoubtedly lucky, because not every graduate student can join the top domestic scientific research team of "Beidou", and her joining also truly proves that she is excellent.
In the 6 years of research career, Xu Ying is very precious, and even a minute and a second is not willing to waste. In the past six years, she has devoted all her enthusiasm to the study and research project.
Huang Tian did not pay off, and her efforts made her professional knowledge more exquisite, and her practical experience was accumulated more and more abundant. In the end, she successfully stood out from hundreds of outstanding students and became the best in the team after graduating from her Ph.D.
Because she has always been interested in the Beidou satellite project, after receiving the invitation issued by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, she did not hesitate to choose to join, and since then she has officially become an associate researcher and began to carry out the Beidou scientific research that she had in mind.
At the beginning of the study, because she was not familiar with the research method, Xu Ying's research was not carried out smoothly, and every time when calculating the data, it would be stuck for a long time because of a problem, resulting in the data being unable to be applied smoothly, which then affected the progress speed of the entire scientific research.
For this reason, Xu Ying is very remorseful, she asked the partners of the team not to help her, she wants to find out the problems herself and solve them independently.
So, in order to find the problem, she began to stay in the laboratory every day, sleeping and forgetting to eat, and working hard. Finally, the key point of the problem was found and the correct data was calculated.
With her steady efforts, in just three years, Xu Ying, who is less than 32 years old, has successfully turned positive and become a researcher at the Institute of Optoelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and has also become the youngest doctoral supervisor in the history of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Xu Ying once said that his supervisor often works overtime until the early hours of the morning, and often sleeps in the office, obviously he can rely on his appearance, but he has to rely on talent.
Years of accumulated experience and hard work have made Xu Ying grow from a Beidou newcomer to the core figure of beidou research institute. Today, she has applied for 28 invention patents and published 24 SCI papers.
A large part of these papers are related to beidou construction. Under her leadership, China also successfully completed the beidou signal enhancement technology experiment of the first low-orbit satellite. The success of this experiment has taken a big step forward in the development of China's scientific research field.
In 2016, Xu Ying was invited by the Chinese Academy of Sciences to give a popular science lecture on China's Beidou navigation on its forum.
