Recently, the Chongqing Municipal Government website published a number of cadre appointment and dismissal notices, in which Liu Li was appointed as the director of the research office of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government.

Liu Li was formerly deputy secretary-general of the Chongqing Municipal Government.

According to the public resume, Liu Li was born in October 1972, with a postgraduate degree from the Party School of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee, and worked in Wuhan, Hubei, Chengdu, Sichuan and other places.

In April 2013, the Wuhan Municipal Government of Hubei Province issued a notice of appointment and dismissal of cadres, and Liu Li was appointed deputy director of the Wuhan Municipal Government Research Office (probationary period of one year).

In January 2017, Liu Li was transferred to the deputy secretary-general of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee.

In September 2017, the Organization Department of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee issued a pre-appointment announcement for cadres, and Liu Li, deputy secretary general of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee, intends to be the director of the Political Research Office of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee. On July 30, 2018, the 19th executive meeting of the Fifth People's Government of Chongqing Municipality decided to appoint Liu Li as deputy secretary-general of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government.
