According to Taiwan's "China Times News Network," the radio program "There Are Dreams on the Water," hosted by Chen Shui-bian, former leader of the Taiwan region, will have an exclusive interview with Lin Jialong, former head of the transportation department of the DPP authorities, tomorrow. Lin Jialong, on the other hand, revealed his "ambition" in a Facebook post today, saying that from participating in the student movement to going through the reigns of Lee Teng-hui, Chen Shui-bian and Tsai Ing-wen, "even though the rivers and lakes are in constant turmoil, my life has never left Taiwan's political future, and the future is the same."

Want to make a comeback? Lin Jialong will be interviewed by Chen Shui-bian, saying he "has not left"

Lin Jialong said: During the "Taroko" accident in Taiwan Railway, many relatives and friends sent messages to show concern, and one of them was Chen Shui-bian. He said that although he was a descendant, Chen Shui-bian had always called him "Brother Jialong".

Lin Jialong also recalled his experience as the "director of the Information Bureau" in the article, and said that he participated in the taichung mayoral election to challenge Hu Zhiqiang out of Chen Shui-bian's encouragement, and said that Chen Shui-bian was "an important nobleman" in his life. He said that Chen Shui-bian invited him to appear on the program at the beginning of this year, but later he resigned from the government for some reason and the interview was delayed, and Chen Shui-bian was considerate that it would take some time for him to recover from the accident.

In terms of faction, Lin Jialong belongs to the "orthodox congress" of the DPP's stance of "independence," and is known as the "master brother" of this faction. After his failed re-election as mayor of Taichung, he took over the transportation authorities, and although he caused many gaffes during his term of office, he was still named as one of Tsai Ing-wen's successors. At the beginning of this year, there were still rumors within the DPP that he might take over as the head of the administrative department. However, the "Taroko" accident caused 49 deaths, and Lin Jialong resigned. As the 2022 taiwan county and city elections approach, there is a public suggestion from the New Taipei congressman of the "Main Diet", pointing out that Lin Jialong is a suitable candidate to challenge Hou Youyi.

Whether Lin Jialong re-emerged from politics through this interview is worth paying attention to. It was only four months after the tragedy of the "Taroko" that Lin Jialong, who was in charge of the official, ran out for an interview, and he did not know how the families of the dead and injured felt.
