The girl, who was adopted by an American couple at the age of 4 and is now returning to China to find her parents, has attracted a lot of attention from society.
In earlier media interviews, the girl was sent to a welfare home in Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, in 2003, and the staff of the welfare home named yi wanxiang, and a year later she was adopted by a couple from the United States. With the help of enthusiastic friends, Yi Wanxiang has found her biological parents in June 2019. The girl's original name was Huang Sisi, and her father, Huang Liping, was 54 years old and from Heyuan, Guangdong; her mother, Chen Li, was from Yichun, Jiangxi.

An accident
Huang Liping and Chen Li met in Guangdong around 2000 and gave birth to a son and a daughter. "The son was born in Guangdong and the daughter was born in Yichun, Jiangxi, and we have not gone through the marriage procedures, so after the birth of the daughter, I and the child's mother returned to Yichun." Huang Liping said.
On July 30, 2003, Chen Li and her father had a big fight. "I will never forget the day when, after the quarrel, the child's mother was in a bad state of mind and ran away from home with her two children. We thought she had gone to the child's aunt's house, and then there was no news of them. Later, we reported the case to the Public Security Bureau of Wanzai County, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, where the children were suspected of being missing. Huang Liping recalled bitterly.
According to Huang Liping, when the child's mother recalled that she was angry, she took the child away from home and disappeared near the Yichun Railway Station. Unable to find the children, Chen Li was so sad that she chose to jump into the river, but attempted suicide.
For more than a decade, Huang Liping has been looking around for news. The child was lost, Huang Liping told himself to be strong, he launched a family and friends to find together, and walked a lot of places. The key location where the children got lost was the Yichun City Railway Station, and he has also run countless times in the villages near Yichun City over the years.

After the sister was found, Huang Liping also went to the welfare home where his sister was adopted, and after some searching, he learned that his brother was adopted by a local family in Yichun. Information such as the address of the family can no longer be found due to relocation, etc. There have been no other clues since.

On August 10, 2019, Huang Liping registered and filled in the child's date of birth, height at the time of disappearance, time of disappearance, location of disappearance, characteristic description and other information on a family search network, hoping to find the child with the help of the power of the network.

On September 15, 2021, Huang Liping received a text message saying that he was going to the Huangpu Branch of the Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau for DNA testing.
On the afternoon of October 10, Huang Liping received a notice from volunteer Shengyun that through DNA comparison, the child was found.
A secret hidden in the heart
The 22-year-old Ah Fei has always had a secret in his heart, "I am not born to my parents, I came to raise my family after I was separated from my own mother and sister." "He can't remember his real name, and he can't remember what his parents looked like." It was too young, and in my memory, there was no father, only mom and sister. ”
But he remembered that day, he and his sister had waited for their mother for a long time. "I don't know where I went, it was like a wet market, and then I somehow went to the police station, and I cried inside for a long time. After a few days, the police sent me to a fun place, and later I learned that it was a welfare home. Ah Fei told reporters. My biggest regret was leaving my sister where she was and I was gone. ”
After a week at the welfare home, the staff sent him to a foster family also in Yichun, Jiangxi Province. As soon as he arrived at the family, Ah Fei seemed to understand something, and he cried at home. "I cried for a long time, and I can't forget that I got into a van and came to this house."
When he was a child, he buried these memories in his heart, and when he grew up, he had the ability to find a family.

In the eyes of Sister Yanzi, a volunteer who helped Ah Fei find her relatives, Ah Fei's memory is incredible. "He was only over 4 years old, but he remembered the situation at that time, and the information was the key to volunteers helping Ah Fei find his family."
The turning point in the search for relatives is a link that Ah Fei saw by chance. "I saw a family search link while watching the news, and I clicked in and tried to register the information. Half a month later, volunteers contacted me to check some details and asked me to do DNA. Ah Fei told reporters.
The family search volunteers feel that Ah Fei is a very lucky child. In their opinion, the probability of finding their own family within two months of the release of the news is really too low. "When the general operation process of our volunteer team, if there is a new family search news released, we will first compare the existing information on the website, and if there is similarity, we will verify it first." The volunteers first looked up the data already on the website and matched it with Yichun, Jiangxi. When verifying the information with Ah Fei, Ah Fei mentioned the details of the horizontal palm print on his hand, and Huang Liping also mentioned the horizontal palm print in the information description. Volunteers feel that Ah Fei is likely to be Huang Liping's child. Then volunteer Yun Jie coordinated Ah Fei to collect blood.
The identification results showed that Ah Fei's DNA was highly matched with Huang Liping, and he was Huang Liping's long-lost son.

Untie the knot
The moment the volunteer Fei Wu told Ah Fei about the results of the appraisal, Ah Fei's emotions suddenly collapsed, and he refused Fei Wu's proposal to meet his biological parents. Ah Fei's reaction caught Fei Wu off guard.
Ah Fei is very contradictory.
"I hate, I hate them for abandoning me, why haven't they been looking for me?" But I wanted to know my own background. He had tears in his eyes.
Ah Fei said that he did not have a good relationship with his adoptive parents, so he never revealed his memories to his adoptive parents. In 2017, Ah Fei dropped out of school to work in Guangzhou, and he felt that no one cared about him, he was like a broken kite.
