Zhao Xiaoning, the daughter of Major General Zhao Jun, was filled with tears at the donation ceremony, fondly recalling her father's participation in the revolution and the stories behind these cultural relics. She said that donating these "priceless treasures" left by her father to the Memorial Hall of the Battle of Crossing the River is not only because her father is a native of Anhui, the son of Dabie Mountain, and a veteran soldier who participated in the Battle of crossing the River, but also hopes that these medals will be used as red cultural relics, and these stories can be told to future generations in the Memorial Hall of the Battle of Crossing the River, so that the red genes can be passed on from generation to generation, so that the motherland's rivers and mountains will never change color.
