Tokyo enters the rainy season.
On June 14, the Japan Meteorological Agency announced that the Kanto Koshin area had entered the plum, which was three days later than last year and 7 days later than the calendar year average.
The Kanto Koshin area will be dominated by rainy and cloudy weather in the coming week or so. Rainfall from June to July this year will be the same as in previous years.
Both Western Japan and the East China Sea entered the plum in mid-May. At present, only the Hokuriku region and the Tohoku region do not enter the plum (Hokkaido does not have a rainy season).
