On the morning of October 26th, the "Qingli Winter Olympics Run to the Future" Winter Olympic and Paralympic Volunteer Oath Ceremony of Capital Universities and colleges and the 100-day Ice and Snow Carnival for the Countdown to the Winter Olympics for Capital Teenagers were held at Beijing Sport University, which was co-sponsored by the Beijing Youth League Municipal Committee and the Education Working Committee of the Municipal Party Committee. Strictly implement the epidemic prevention requirements, through the form of "1 + 65" to hold a combination of offline and online Winter Olympics countdown 100 days activities, in addition to the Beijing Sport University teachers and students representatives on-site participation, all 65 volunteer source universities in the capital and Zhangjiakou competition area representatives participated in the activities online synchronously.
Xia Linmao, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Municipal Committee of Education, Li Yingchuan, deputy director of the State General Administration of Sports, Fu Zhenbang, secretary of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, Teng Shengping, director of the Volunteer Department of the Organizing Committee of the Winter Olympics, Shi Xinming, director of the Youth Volunteer Action Guidance Center of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, Wang Zhiheng, vice president of the Bank of China, and Cao Weidong, secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing Sport University, attended the meeting together. The event was presided over by Li Junhui, secretary of the Youth League Municipal Party Committee.
At the oath-taking ceremony, volunteer representatives from Peking University, Tsinghua University and Beijing University of Technology talked about their feelings about participating in volunteer service. The participating leaders presented flags to the three divisions of Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou and the city volunteer teams, and all volunteers of Beijing universities took a solemn oath online and offline.
In his mobilization speech, Xia Linmao encouraged volunteers to further contribute to the strength of youth, and put forward hopes and requirements for the next stage of work. Volunteers are required to seize opportunities and train themselves; carry forward the spirit and show their style; combine work and leisure, and abide by rules and discipline.
After the oath ceremony, the Ice carnival event was officially opened. Cao Weidong, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Beijing Sport University, delivered an opening speech, Zhong Mianmian, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Municipal Committee, introduced the "Qingli Winter Olympics" brand activity, and well-known sports people sent their blessings in the form of videos. In his speech, Li Yingchuan pointed out that he hoped that more young people would participate in the Winter Olympic Games and show the style of contemporary Chinese youth.
At the scene of the event, representatives of university students in the capital, representatives of children and young workers issued a sincere invitation to the world together - meet in Beijing, share the Winter Olympics, celebrate the New Year, and move forward together to the future! At the end of the event, the participating leaders launched the Ice and Snow Carnival Activity and the First Beijing University Ice Hockey Friendly Tournament.
In the next step, the Beijing Youth League Municipal Committee will continue to build the "Qingli Winter Olympics" activity brand, closely focus on the overall situation of service to ensure the Winter Olympics, gather the wisdom of the whole group, guide more teenagers to go to the ice and snow, and contribute to the creation of a strong atmosphere for the Winter Olympics.
