On September 26, the construction of the China Songzhuang Young Artists Workshop Project undertaken by China Construction Fifth Bureau · started construction, which will carry the cultural creativity, tourism and leisure, ecological livability functions of Songzhuang area, build the first international leading young artist creation gathering place in China, and promote the development of cultural tourism industry in Beijing's sub-center with art and cultural industry project incubation.
Hou Jianmei, member of the Standing Committee of the Tongzhou District Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department of Beijing, Li Peng, general manager of Beijing Songzhuang Investment Co., Ltd., and Liu Dong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, director and general manager of China Construction Fifth Bureau, attended the meeting.
After more than 30 years of development, Songzhuang has become a "dream factory" for more than 7,000 artists. The Songzhuang Young Artist Workshop project plans to provide more than 900 sets of artist workshops for about 2,000 young artists, including supporting public art museums, shared studios, public canteens, art multimedia halls, painting materials and works warehouses and other industrial public facilities. It not only takes the artist's creation as the core starting point, but also takes into account the functions of display, reception, life, storage and so on, which is the new "art living room" of Songzhuang Art and Creative Town.
As an important achievement of the pilot project of collective management construction land in Tongzhou District, in the process of promoting the project, the local government attaches great importance to it, efficiently linkages and parallel approvals, and obtains three books and two certificates in only 6 hours, successfully realizing "starting construction immediately after taking the land". China Construction Fifth Bureau responded positively, ran into the site, and officially entered the construction site on September 26.
