She is Su Li, a reconnaissance officer at the section level of the Yulin City Public Security Bureau, who spent six years stationed in the frontline of poverty alleviation, treated the poor masses as relatives, tried every means to solve problems for poor families, really helped and helped, and won the trust and respect of the masses.
Willing to dedicate and dare to take responsibility
On June 3, 2014, Su Li was sent to Liujia'an Village, Wuzhen, Jia County, as the leader of the village-based task force. A weekday chronicle, two or three books, and a box containing a few pieces of change of clothes, were all her "belongings" when she was stationed in the village.
"To be honest, I didn't have the experience of living in the countryside before, and when I was stationed in the village, I did have some troubles: I couldn't get off the toilet, it was inconvenient to take a bath, there were swarms of insects, moths, scorpions, old wooden beds were moldy and wet, etc., but I quickly adapted and mingled with the villagers." Su Li talked about her initial experience in the village, which was like pulling a family routine.
Soon, she would be able to eat with a bowl as the dung cart passed by; she could follow the village sisters to roll up their trouser legs and wear straw hats, harvest crops in the fields and twist their songs in the yard; she could change into fashionable clothes in the city and wear a pair of tourist shoes to step on the muddy and mai grain fields. Like all the village-based help cadres in the country, she started from the most basic work, entering the household, investigating, exploring the bottom, filling out forms, talking, planning...
After being stationed in the village, Su Li's first concern was the treatment of the silt dam in Liujia'an Village. After repeated coordination with the city, county and township levels, she won the first help fund for the village, solved the problem of soil erosion and soil erosion, and improved the ecological environment of the farmland. This responsibility touched everyone in Liujia'an Village and won the trust of the masses, and everyone was willing to follow her out of poverty and become rich.
In the six years of poverty alleviation, Su Li has fought for funds to build roads, divert water, build photovoltaic projects, and build processing plants for villagers. The filling in of a series of poverty alleviation data, the detailed records of the forms, and the smile on the face of each poor household are clear evidence that she cares about the poor people, works hard, and realizes her own value in serving the masses.
Su Li, who is middle-aged, has elderly parents, a frail husband, and a daughter who is about to take the college entrance examination, which all need her to take care of and share. In the six years of poverty alleviation, she has paid more hardships than ordinary people, but she has never complained or regretted. She is a versatile talented woman, and it is her deeply rooted in her heart that makes her chew the poverty and loneliness of the countryside into poetry and distance, and train her into a warrior on the battlefield of poverty alleviation.
The police and the people are integrated into courage
During the visit, Su Li found that most of the contradictions in the villagers' neighborhoods belonged to water source disputes, marriage disputes, and disputes over the separation of farmers. To this end, the village-based task force has set up a "Villagers' Contradiction and Dispute Mediation Committee" in Liujia'an Village. Su Li gave full play to her strengths, specially designed and produced the village rules and regulations of the people's covenant exhibition board, using various occasions to preach civic morality, social security and other knowledge to the villagers, and guide the villagers to express reasonable demands in a rational and legal way.
In order to improve the production and living conditions of the masses, she actively applied to purchase chemical fertilizers and other means of production for the villagers; in order to improve the moral cultivation of the masses, she transformed into Teacher Su of the "Moral Lecture Hall"; in order to improve the awareness rate of the poverty alleviation policy, she organized and held poverty alleviation knowledge contests and rural literary and artistic performances, from planning to serving as a host, always doing her own work. During the autumn harvest, she harvests crops with the masses, eats and works with her teammates in the village, and is like a brother and sister. During the Spring Festival, she volunteered to write the Spring Festival For the villagers, led the villagers to read and listen to books, and helped the villagers sell vermicelli, eggs, grains and other local specialties.
Su Li has always put Zhizhi and Zhizhi in the first place in the work of poverty alleviation, built a bridge between the police and the people, built a harmonious relationship between the police and the people, paid close attention to the project industry, changed the villagers' ideological concepts, and realized the leap from "curing the table" to "curing the symptoms", bringing a real sense of gain and happiness to the poor masses.
Real help to see results
How much dirt there is under your feet, how much affection there is in your heart. Su Li used the language of the masses and the working style that the masses liked to get along with the masses day and night.
Poor household Liu Fusheng himself is disabled, his wife is a first-degree mental disability, his son is 16 years old, his daughter is 12 years old, a man with two children, and his life is terrible. In the summer of 2015, when Su Li learned that Liu Fusheng could not vacate the new house because he had no money to rent a new house and the old house, she immediately led the poverty alleviation team members to his home, patiently advised him to move out of the dangerous house, and braved the rain to come to the town, sewing new bedding for Liu Fusheng's family at his own expense, and purchasing daily necessities such as pots, dishes and chopsticks. In the fall of 2017, Liu Fusheng was hospitalized due to illness, and only two underage children were harvesting crops in the field. Su Li saw it in her eyes and hurt in her heart, gave them special care, taught them to know good and evil, know gratitude, learn from examples, and encouraged them to face the difficulties of life with a positive and sunny attitude. In 2020, the new crown epidemic made it impossible for children to go to school normally, so Su Li gave them her own computer and spent her own money to pull the network cable to ensure that the children could take classes online normally. Su Li warmed the hearts of the children with meticulous care, and the children affectionately called her "Mother Su".
Liu Xueshan is a well-known "lazy man" in the village, childless and lonely. Seeing this, Su Li took her daughter, took milk, biscuits and clothes, and went to visit the old man's home. The child cleans up the house for the elderly, sings to him, and uses companionship to make the elderly feel love and warmth. Su Li touched Liu Xueshan with sincerity, making him change from thinking, from passive to active, from lazy to diligent, just like a new person, the mental outlook is renewed.
Su Li's deeds in helping and supporting the village have been fully affirmed by the party committees and governments at all levels, and have won the honors of "Good Moral Model Good Man in Jia County", "Good Man in Yulin - The Most Beautiful Poverty Alleviation Cadre", "Advanced Individual in Poverty Alleviation in Yulin City", "Contribution Award of Shaanxi Province Poverty Alleviation Award" and so on. In February this year, Su Li was awarded the honorary title of "National Advanced Individual in Poverty Alleviation" by the Party Central Committee and the State Council. In the face of flowers and applause, Su Li said that these honors come from the understanding of her family, the support of leaders, the encouragement of colleagues, the cooperation of poor households and the efforts of her teammates, and she just wore a garland for the majority of poverty alleviation cadres.
From the propaganda police to the poverty alleviation cadres stationed in the village, Su Li deeply infected the colleagues around her with a pure heart, touched every difficult people, and interpreted the Zhengzheng oath of a communist party member and the people's police not to forget the original heart with true feelings and actions, and was affectionately called "the most beautiful blue flower blooming on the plateau of northern Shaanxi" by people.
