On the morning of September 6, the 5,947-meter-long Miaoling Tunnel, a major and difficult control project of the Shenyang-Baihai High-speed Railway, was successfully completed, which also marked the completion of all tunnels of the Shenyang-Baihai High-speed Railway.
There are a total of 85 tunnels on the Shenbai high-speed railway, with a total length of 215.4 kilometers, accounting for 50.1% of the entire high-speed railway.
Located in Baishan City, Jilin Province, the Miaoling Tunnel of Shenbai High-speed Railway is a single-hole double-track tunnel, the tunnel is located at the foot of Changbai Mountain, and the geological conditions are mainly weak volcanic ash and andesite, and the construction conditions are complex. In order to ensure the safe and smooth progress of the construction, the construction unit China Railway Bridge Bureau Group Co., Ltd. follows the construction principle of "short footage, strong support, less disturbance, weak blasting, diligent observation and early closure", formulates a perfect construction plan, continuously strengthens the process management, and takes corresponding excavation measures according to different geological conditions, which effectively ensures the safety quality and construction efficiency.
In order to meet the requirements of the construction period, the Beijing-Harbin high-speed railway company strictly implements risk control measures, conducts excavation risk reminders every month, and organizes regular inspections, guarantees and inspections of construction units; Organize and study the construction plan of the weak rock-forming stratum of the Miaoling Tunnel in a timely manner, and implement the safety monitoring of the whole process, which effectively reduces the construction safety risk.
It is reported that the Shenyang-Baihai high-speed railway has a total length of 430.1 kilometers, which is an important part of the Shenyang-Jiamusi high-speed railway in the eastern part of Northeast China, and an important part of the entire Northeast high-speed railway network, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. After completion and opening to traffic, the minimum running time from Beijing to Changbai Mountain will be compressed to less than 4 hours, which is of great significance for promoting the effective integration of regional development and national strategies, deeply empowering the Eastern Tourism Ring Road, and further helping the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China to achieve high-quality regional economic development.
