Pet food exports will reach $2.5 billion

The Department for the Promotion of International Trade (DITP) of Thailand's Department for the Promotion of International Trade (DITP) has forecast pet food exports to reach US$2.5 billion (€2.4 billion) this year, up 3% year-on-year. Thailand's pet food exports in 2023 were valued at USD 2.46 billion (EUR 2.3 billion).

From January to May 2024, Thailand's pet food exports reached US$1.1 billion (€1 billion), up 37.6% year-on-year.

Thailand forecasts pet food exports to reach $2.50 billion by 2024

Thailand's Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) agricultural and industrial trade promotion office predicts that pet food exports will reach $2.50 billion (2.40 billion euros) this year, a year-on-year increase of 3%. In 2023, Thailand's pet food exports will reach $2.46 billion (2.30 billion euros).

From January to May 2024, Thailand's pet food exports reached $1.10 billion (1 billion euros), an increase of 37.6% year-on-year.

The import of Thailand pet food and canned pet food requires Thailand manufacturers to export to China on the list approved by the General Administration of Customs

At present, the list of 33 Thailand pet food and canned pet food enterprises exported to China has been approved
