From July 27th to 28th, 2024, Aaron, Partner of Steam Education, was invited to attend the [2024 Harvard China Innovation and Investment Summit and Harvard Innovation Theory Global Innovation Competition]. This year's summit will focus on low-carbon energy, overseas strategies, biomedicine, and artificial intelligence-generated content (AIGC).
These areas not only represent the forefront of science and technology and the economy, but are also key drivers of sustainable development and global cooperation. The performance of Chinese enterprises in the international market is becoming more and more eye-catching, and going overseas has become a new growth point. The rise of AIGC technology is a leap forward in the application of artificial intelligence, which shows great potential in content creation and data analysis. The government-level support policies continue to exert force, providing a solid policy foundation and broad development space for innovation and entrepreneurship. The optimization of local policies has created more opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs.
In the roundtable forum of the summit, Aaron, partner of STEAM Education, expressed his views on the cultivation of talents in the field of general artificial intelligence as a guest speaker:
Talent plays a key role in the technological revolution and industrial transformation of general artificial intelligence, and higher education at home and abroad must make positive changes to adapt to this trend. In the context of fundamental changes in knowledge acquisition and learning content, educational institutions need to re-examine and practice the methods of talent development and the construction of teaching and learning environments. Specifically, from the perspective of student learning, educators should explore how to transform traditional knowledge and skills development into developing future-oriented innovation capabilities.
The integration of "artificial intelligence + education" will promote the transformation of the traditional unified training model to the personalized training model, which puts forward higher requirements for the integration of educational resources and the application of intelligent technology. He analyzed the shortcomings in the process of using artificial intelligence to promote the reform of traditional talent training models, and put forward four suggestions to promote innovation and reform in education. These recommendations aim to make education more personalized, flexible, and adaptable to better meet the needs of the business of the future.
The event was co-organized by the Harvard Investment Industry China Alumni Association and the Harvard Venture Capital Club:
