On August 2, 2024, the "Exploring the · Sea of Stars" Aerospace Science and Technology Achievements Tour Exhibition (Caofeidian Station) was officially launched, which was hosted by the Caofeidian New Town Management Office, guided by the News and Publicity Center of the China National Space Administration, and undertaken by Tangshan Caofeidian Urban Development Group Co., Ltd. and One Star Sail (Tianjin) Technology Co., Ltd. The exhibition is also the second stop of the national tour with the News and Publicity Center of the China National Space Administration as the guiding unit after the successful conclusion of the "Exploring the · Stars and Seas" Aerospace Science and Technology Achievements Tour Exhibition (Tianjin Station).

This exhibition is located in the Lanyue Bay Scenic Area of Caofeidian New Town, with "exploration" as the main line. "Exploration" is the eternal theme in China's aerospace process, and it is the exploration of the unknown that makes people go from looking up at the starry sky to traveling in the sea of stars. At the same time, the Xunxingdao Aerospace Science and Technology Experience Hall was opened, and the Caofeidian Aerospace New Materials Forum was opened at the same time. A number of blockbuster exhibits were exhibited for the first time in North China, including the China Aerospace Semi-physical Simulation Technology Display System authorized by the News and Publicity Center of the China National Space Administration, which displays China's lunar exploration achievements and human lunar history, including the sand table of the future lunar scientific research base, the interaction of lunar relics, the AR display of the lunar base, and virtual reality VR.
