Recently, the list of the 9th "Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award (Humanities and Social Sciences)" of the Ministry of Education was announced.
The Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award (Humanities and Social Sciences) was established by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China to reward researchers who have made outstanding contributions to the field of humanities and social sciences research, encourage active exploration and innovation, promote the prosperity and development of humanities and social sciences in colleges and universities, and better serve the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics. There are about 1,500 awards in total. The award is widely regarded by universities as the highest award in the field of philosophy and social sciences.
It is reported that a total of 94 achievements of Peking University were selected. Among them, there are 11 first prizes, 33 second prizes, 33 third prizes, 2 popular reading awards, and 15 youth achievement awards, ranking first in the total number of awards in colleges and universities in the country.
